Myk Murphy:
i like red ken's idea about the REM-pigeon swap by nelson's column. perhaps they can get U2 to endlessly spin on the london Eye thingie, perpetually proclaiming that it's a beautiful day.
(Mon Apr 2, 2001 - 5:05:07 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
(Mon Apr 2, 2001 - 5:09:55 pm)

rOb!:
FINALLY got the Young Fresh Fellows/Minus 5 albums. First listen very positive; Minus 5 very poppy, nice input from Robyn. YFF more of a garagey affair, though it has it's pop moments as well.

rOb!:
While I've got the soapbox, allow me a moment to sing the praises of Stephen Malkmus' new album. It's REALLY FUCKING GOOD. I wasn't the world's biggest Pavement fan, so I was skeptical at first. But after repeated listens, those songs burrow deep into your mind, and you find yourself humming them while in line at the grocery store, while you're at work.... after a while, it becomes imperitive to your survival that you listen to at least 8 tracks a day.
(Mon Apr 2, 2001 - 6:59:38 pm)

rOb!:
And before anyone asks, yes, I am drunk.
(Mon Apr 2, 2001 - 7:00:06 pm)

Myk Murphy:
excellent work, rob. no, i have yet to begin drinking. as for my comments, please refer to orange & gb's comments earlier in the day, around 10am. i'll be sure to have a few for tonight's game, of course. i have money on arizona, due to a final 4 pool gone mad.

Myk Murphy:
despite being a local favorite, i'm indifferent about the terps. damn good parties up at college park, but that was ages ago. crazy pool parties. with the gropes to cause jealousy and the guy with the soaked mobile phone and the inevitable hey hey hey...
