Sleepy:
CW has seen that.Goodnight.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:13:02 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Good night Sleepy. It's true. Wonderful movie, but even better if you watch this dog show tonight on USA at 8:00pm. They have the new fangled cable television down south there rOb!? The dogshow in Best in Show is a satire of the Westminster.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:15:47 pm)

rOb!:
Newfangled? I've enjoyed the fine programming of USA for years......back when Gilbert Gottfried was the host of "Up All Night," the haven of really bad edited for late night television movies.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:20:02 pm)

rOb!:
Now that I think about it, I've seen one or two dog shows in USA in the past.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:21:15 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Was Joe Garagiola doing the color commentary?
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:21:58 pm)

Chewing Wax:
It's on every year in February.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:22:22 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Where the hell is my lunch?
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:22:40 pm)

rOb!:
Gee....I hope I'm not eating your luch right now. Is Joe Garagiola the old baseball announcer?
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:24:41 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Yes. The old baseball announcer.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:25:04 pm)

rOb!:
Then yes, he was doing the color commentary. Is he senile or what?
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:29:55 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Insane and senile. yes. Ronald Reagan disease.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:30:34 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Fred Willard is almost too funny in the movie.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:31:10 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Cruel, but funny.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:31:33 pm)

rOb!:
I'll be sure to watch it tonight, then. I really like hearing old, senile men talk about dogs.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:31:40 pm)

rOb!:
Have you seen Waiting for Guffman? It's another Guest movie, but it's got Willard in it as well.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:32:16 pm)

Chewing Wax:
No, I haven't seen that. I'm not sure why I haven't. It looks like something I'd want to see.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:33:05 pm)

rOb!:
I saw it on cable one afternoon, and I've looked for it on video after that, and I could'nt find it. It's also got Parker Posey, Bob Odenkirk and David Cross in it as well. If I wasn't such a huge Tap fan, I'd say it was funnier than that.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:36:47 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Parker Posey
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:39:49 pm)

rOb!:
I really like her.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:40:50 pm)

Chewing Wax:
She's great
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:41:32 pm)

rOb!:
She's cute as hell. In Guffman, she plays a white trash girl who gets a part in a musical, and it gets played out to hilarious consequences.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:42:29 pm)

Chewing Wax:
The whole cast looks very similar to Best in Show.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:42:53 pm)

rOb!:
Speaking of Fred Willard, NBC has been showing old episodes of SCTV in place of it's horrible Later program the last few weeks, and the other night was the one where Guy Caballero (Joe Flaherty) tried to embezzle Willard for tons of money....Good stuff. Great Canadian humor.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:44:19 pm)

rOb!:
As per most Guest stuff, most of it's all just impovised on the spot.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:45:31 pm)

Cushca:
You spelt programme wrong.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:54:39 pm)

rOb!:
No, I didn't. I merely spelled it the American way.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:55:52 pm)

Cushca:
Like I said, you spelt it the wrong way.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:56:17 pm)

rOb!:
Truth, justice and spelling things the American way.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:56:49 pm)

rOb!:
Let's not allow petty cultural differences to seperate us, Cushca.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 1:57:46 pm)

Cushca:
Ah, but this can only happen when we teach all of America to spell properly.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 2:01:37 pm)

rOb!:
As I recall, several thousand people died to get out from under English control. I think we can spell how we want.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 2:03:42 pm)

rOb!:
Of course, history was never one of my better subjects.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 2:04:33 pm)

Chewing Wax:
As I recall, we wiped them out with the small pox. Sorry. Smalle Poxxe.
(Tue Feb 13, 2001 - 2:23:20 pm)
