(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 12:55:08 pm)

Queenie:
Sadly it'll only keep me busy for a couple days, then I'll be back to being creatively stunted again.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 12:55:57 pm)

rOb!:
Um, which one is bela? Their bass player looks like Lester Bangs. In a bad way.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 12:57:30 pm)

Chewing Wax:
bela is the accordian player. Suzanne.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 12:58:10 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Ask her out. She's jonesing for some tricks.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 12:58:35 pm)

Queenie:
Bela is great, don't let Wax fool ya.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 12:58:40 pm)

rOb!:
Reeealllllllllyyy? You have to admit, she looks a hell of a lot better than Weird Al.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 12:59:10 pm)

rOb!:
Sadly, as usual, I live too far away from everything.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 12:59:54 pm)

Queenie:
Between Ken and myself, we spend around $300 a month on cigarettes.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 12:59:59 pm)

Chewing Wax:
That's nothing. Since I got hooked on these Pall Malls, I've upped to three packs a day. That's like $450 just more me.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:01:42 pm)

rOb!:
I spend around $150, just by myself.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:01:46 pm)

Queenie:
Goddamn $5 a pack english imports!
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:02:38 pm)

rOb!:
I'm only averaging just over a pack a day. Since I switched from Newports to Camel Menthols, I've gone down a bit. Damn Menthols...
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:02:53 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Suddenly my $120 a month vodka habbit doesn't seem so bad anymore.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:03:12 pm)

Queenie:
Ew, menthols!?!
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:03:25 pm)

Queenie:
Wax - heh.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:03:40 pm)

rOb!:
Ain't it grand that even though we're all hundreds of miles apart, we can all still bitch about cigarette prices?
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:03:44 pm)

Chewing Wax:
What do you smoke Queenie? Those swishy Dunhills?
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:04:18 pm)

rOb!:
Years ago, this girl I really liked smoked menthols. She kept feeding them to me, and I kept smoking them like the love-struck foo I was. Soon, I couldn't not smoke them. Sad, huh?
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:04:46 pm)

Queenie:
swishy Dunhills. You betcha. Smoooooooooth and delicious.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:05:11 pm)

Queenie:
Thousands of miles away, technically.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:05:39 pm)

Chewing Wax:
blue or red?
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:05:41 pm)

Queenie:
Red.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:06:44 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Not too long ago I remember laughing my ass off at the Canadians for having to pay $5 a pack for those navy cut miniature smokes they like, and now it's $5 a pack for smokes in New York. That's irony for you. Or something. $5.25 in the machines. You try feeding in 26 quarters one by one into a bitchy machine half drunk off your ass. It takes hours.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:07:36 pm)

rOb!:
I used to smoke the Dunhill Menthols. Those were nice.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:07:49 pm)

rOb!:
Thank you, Queenie. I was trying to make myself feel not so geographically isolated.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:08:45 pm)

Chewing Wax:
yeh. I smoked them for a while in the mid 80's. I have a black and gold cigarette case. I must have thought I was James Bond or something. What an idiot.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:09:07 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Then I was watching Rosemary's Baby a year or two ago, and you know that seen where the husband comes home with a carton of red Pall Malls and they just had a smoking party, and I said, yeh, that looks cool. One puff and that thick black smoke with its massive nicotine kick hooks you big time. You can actually feel the insides of your lungs gumming up. It's amazing.
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:12:48 pm)

Chewing Wax:
scene
(Fri Feb 2, 2001 - 1:14:13 pm)

rOb!:
I loved the first nicotine head rush.... Talk about yer religious experiences. I used to quit smoking for a week (back when I could), just to start over and get that head rush. Ah, those were the days.....
