Bye m. Sweet dreams. Shall I ask for a two month sabbatical? Shall I? Shall I?
(Mon Jan 15, 2001 - 10:04:56 am)
Chewing Wax:
Good morning. I was just about to ask where you were at. You should. I would if I were you.
(Mon Jan 15, 2001 - 10:10:05 am)
Cushca:
I think she should.
(Mon Jan 15, 2001 - 10:26:05 am)
Myk Murphy:
welcome back, moochman. a sabbatical? the word is almost unknown here in the states, so i envy those who can do it. as for the virginia legislature, they're trying to push a bill through committee to recognize jackie chan with an august day off, but opponents want to wait until he's dead. that's reasonable.
(Mon Jan 15, 2001 - 10:36:11 am)
Myk Murphy:
what would you do with your 2 months off, sleepy?
(Mon Jan 15, 2001 - 10:36:51 am)
Cushca:
I think she's going to build some kind of palace-type structure where people may worship me. At least that's what she's told me she would do. I did hear her muttering about weapons of mass destruction yesterday though.
(Mon Jan 15, 2001 - 10:47:30 am)
Sleepy:
I'm not sure Myk. It's not a very common occurance at the mill. I remember asking for a sabbatical years ago and the HR people said no, suggesting that I could always leave if I wanted a break! Bosswoman is happy for me to take some time off, but the people in charge would have to approve it.

yes, the deed is done. the taco salads have been ordered. i'm working from home today, since the govt client has today off. my better half has just gone out on a lunch run, and will bring back wonderful south o' the border delights!

better half indeed. That's good eating. I had a steak and cheese taco last night. I'm not sure how Mexican that was, but it was delicious. Okay... two steak and cheese tacos.

(Mon Jan 15, 2001 - 1:24:11 pm)
Myk Murphy:
it's a good thing that sleepy's gone for the day. i didn't want her to read about the pergola at seattle's pioneer square. this 91-year-old landmark was smashed by a clumsy idiot in a truck. fixing it won't be easy.
(Mon Jan 15, 2001 - 1:27:21 pm)
Decoy:
At first I thought that was the dome in London fallen in.
(Mon Jan 15, 2001 - 1:32:46 pm)

(Mon Jan 15, 2001 - 1:34:01 pm)
