i saw the industrial/goth show last night, and it was very good. the club was quite empty, but the temp outside was around 20 degrees, so i'm not surprised. it was also good to see our former drummer, who helped out with the show.

It was so cold this morning, like below zero, i had to jump start the mini van, it took forever to start, then i slipped and fell on the ice with a hot cup of coffee in my hand, the cat puked on my new sofa, and my dog peed on my new running shoes. Nobody loves me.

Man that all sucks. Hope you're okay with the falling and the scalding. I couldn't figure out why it was so freaking cold in the gutted kitchen. Seems the contractor left the window in the back bathroom open. The water in the toilet had frozen. Poor Anne found out the hard way.

I'm not working on it. I'm paying a guy to work on it. I don't much go in for that "do it yourself" stuff. Although I did install the "insta-shock" fencing and grid work over the summer. But, it's been going on a month now, or more. Proceeding at a nice slow pace. The cabinets are arriving on the 21st. We haven't even ordered the counter yet, and there may or may not be a nice wood floor worth saving underneath the sub floor. Actually, the only thing that's been done is to rip out the old ceiling and cabinets and put in a new ceiling with recessed lighting.
