(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:05:19 pm)

Chewing Wax:

(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:09:50 pm)

Heruka:
Peruvian chicken? I've got hot sauces and pastes from Peru. I like the paste on chicken breasts. I had a close childhood friend from El Salvador. Sadly. He lives a hard life these days. We've got a President! Almost.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:11:53 pm)

Norv:

Ohhhhhh.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:12:25 pm)

Sleepy:
Ooh. There's a lovely Portuguese restaurant here called Nandos. Mmm.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:15:25 pm)

Chewing Wax:
What kind of food do the Portuguese eat?
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:16:58 pm)

Sleepy:
This restaurant suggests that they're big on chicken. Mmm. Again.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:17:27 pm)

Chewing Wax:

Mmm.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:18:16 pm)

:
paste on chicken breasts?
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:19:44 pm)

Myk Murphy:
damn, things look bad for gore. looks like the florida legislature won't even have to steal the election. the GOP bullying in miami-dade did the trick. if the mini-fraud in seminole county goes against the GOP, however, this could get interesting. gore may have to concede before that ruling, however, if the leon county ruling follows the US supreme court ruling, which it probably will.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:44:16 pm)

Myk Murphy:
we don't have much spanish food in the US, and probably zero portuguese food. only in a few select downtown restaurants can we find a full menu, but tapas bars are growing in number, so that's nice.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:47:15 pm)

Chewing Wax:
There's a lot of Greek food around here. What's up with that?
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:48:36 pm)

Myk Murphy:
yum... greek isn't too gigantic around here, but neighborhood greek/italian pizza places are common. the quality varies widely, but the prices are usually low.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:53:06 pm)

Myk Murphy:
the greektown in chicago is really cool. i had never been to a neighborhood with greek signs... even the walgreens there had "pharmacy" and other things written in greek on the side of the building. that was fun.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:54:29 pm)

Heruka:
You both are Democrats. Is it true that the Democrat party hired telemarketing firm to call registered Democrats on the night of the election and tell them to call their representative and complain of election abnormalities? Is this why those bumb-ass black people were complainng that they couldn't vote? Despite the fact that they were so fucking stupid they tried to vote in a county that they were'nt even registered in. I suspect the US Surpreme Court just didn't want anything to do with Floridas SC's 'making up rules as they wen't along just to help Gore. I, personally Gore knew he never had a chance. He just did this to spite Bush, and perhaps make his Presidency less viable. Just to turn party against party. That's the kind of fucker he is. Enough Politics. Yes. Greek. Octopuss wrapped in grape leaves. mmmmm

SG:
There is a lot of Italian food in Rochester, its because of all the italians; and because its the best food hands down.

And cheese is good, too.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 1:05:37 pm)

Sleepy:
Italian food. Yum. The best. No question. Goodnight.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 1:08:26 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I received that call and dutifully complained of election abnormailites. I personally saw Republicans voting thirty or forty times, just getting back in line and giving different names. It was blatant. Also I noticed that the tension on the "GORE/LIEBERMAN" lever was much higher then the "BUSH/HITLER" lever and after trying in vain to vote for Gore, I got confused and voted for Bush. And if you read the Supreme Court opinion, it just sent it back to Florida to explain themselves. They even told them how. This was a Gore victory. Remember, it was Bush's lawsuit.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 1:08:58 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Night Sleepy.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 1:09:56 pm)

Cushca:
What absolute nonsense.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 1:12:22 pm)

Decoy:
I loved how the justice admonished the lawer for filing the suit before his point of contention had even been established by Fla certifying the votes. Ha, good one!
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 1:13:08 pm)

Queenie:
I just got an email informing me that the Soft Boys are touring and that the entire band is available for interview - but no dates yet. Cool!
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 1:13:21 pm)

Decoy:
Nonsense indeed.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 1:13:59 pm)

Queenie:
I thought it was just a crazy rumor.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 1:15:21 pm)

Decoy:
What, the election?
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 1:17:21 pm)
