Sleepy:
Yes, in the arm. It doesn't hurt much yet and the actual injection didn't hurt at all, I thought she was just priming the area. I feel a bit sick though.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 10:13:55 am)

Mrs Dr GB:
How flies see David Blaine
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 10:14:16 am)

Sleepy:
But that might be due to nasty fishcakes at lunch.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 10:14:38 am)

Sleepy:
I wasn't referring to lovely David obviously. Buzzzz.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 10:15:03 am)

Myk Murphy:
and what did cushca and the good doctor do? and while we're at it, does anyone else have tales of weekend adventures? did you cut yourself on rusty metal, sleepy?
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 10:17:15 am)

Myk Murphy:
lovely david? have you visited the optometrist recently?
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 10:19:12 am)

Heruka:
I did my usual thing of gator-wrestling on Saturday. I did have a million dollar idead this weekend. While picking up food for the football party yesterday, I thought about opening a pizza shop in London. I am brilliant.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 10:21:20 am)

Mrs Dr GB:
Holy crap! http://mrshowbiz.go.com/news/Todays_Stories/1203/turlington120300.html
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 10:22:01 am)

Chewing Wax:
I attended the most miserable football game I have ever seen. That was fun. And I watched a lot of NASA TV. It's a full life.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 10:23:37 am)

Chewing Wax:
And I had a molar break in half about half way down the root. I had to dig it out with my fingers because it was just moving back and forth making a sickening cunching sound every time I chewed.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 10:26:57 am)

Chewing Wax:
Yeh.. well.. it's going to take more than that to get me to go to a dentist.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 10:27:31 am)

*cough***hack** Those wouldn't be Pall Mall's, would they?
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 10:31:59 am)

Myk Murphy:
good lord, wax, that sounds horrible. yeah, i saw the score of that game... wanna trade head coaches?
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 10:38:42 am)

Myk Murphy:
well, if that doesn't make you want to stop smoking, i don't know what would. emphysema at 31. damn.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 10:41:38 am)

Myk Murphy:
london has pizza, and plenty of it, both traditional and gourmet. how will "heruka's house of pizza" set itself apart?
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 10:58:22 am)

Heruka:
Really? Pizza in London. Then why do they eat something called fishcakes? I'm a seafood lover myself. I'm touching nothing called fishcaked though. I figure bare-chested waitresses will do the trick. Or is Englands gay population too high to make this a go? How's about Mexican? Fajitas a go-go..
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 11:10:32 am)

Chewing Wax:
How about a nice Pakistani restaurant.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 11:15:24 am)

Topless waitress:
There is no way I'm dealing with sizzling hot plates of fajitas dressed like this.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 11:16:30 am)

Sleepy:
Wise.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 11:18:27 am)

Heruka:
Is this not the coolest shirt on earth? An "engineered" shirt with dogs playing poker on the front. Hey Myk, do you own Buffett's "Fruitcakes" disc?
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 11:26:07 am)

Myk Murphy:
actually, heruka, you nailed a good idea: london needs decent mexican food. they think they have some idea how tex-mex/mexican is done, but they don't. i don't have that cd, H. is it good?
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 11:32:09 am)

Heruka:
I dig it. It's a perfect fusion of Island sounds(steel drums and all) and slow pop. A perfect disc to relax to, which is just as suitable to a party disc. One of my favorite Jimmy discs. Are you a Parrothead?
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 11:37:40 am)

Myk Murphy:
a part-time parrothead, really. every couple of years i catch his show, but i don't collect his recordings.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 11:42:38 am)

Sleepy:
Have you been to Chiquitas in Leicester Square, Myk? That's quite nice. Also Cafe Pacifico.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 11:47:28 am)

Myk Murphy:
no, never been to chiquitas, but i did pick up a couple of birds right out front of the place! they wined and dined me, and left me drunk and penniless in a brixton alley. er... something like that.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 11:56:49 am)

Heruka:
Are they filthy, Sleepy? A proper Mexican restaurant should be rather disgusting. They're good to eat at, just don't look around. There should always be Mexicans hanging around the outside of the place. I can also buy beer illegally at my favorite Mex. place. They're good people. at my I don't suppose the Latino population in the U.K. can be very large. You don't know what you're missing. I like them.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 11:56:55 am)

orange:
don't know who's opening for the SB's, but there was a rumour that it would be the Young Fresh Fellows. Someone said Mama's Kitchen was a good mexican eaterie, but it's too far to go. There's probably some nice ones in Texas though.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:02:11 pm)

Sleepy:
Why, our very own Cushca is a latino. She does so love to dance.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:03:05 pm)

Cushca:
Ola.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:03:22 pm)

Myk Murphy:
there are no latin americans at these establishments, near as i can tell, and very few in the UK, i'm sure. the food is interesting, but refried beans are an enigma, and the meat in the burritos, tacos, etc. is not anywhere near authentic.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:03:23 pm)

Sleepy:
It has to be the Fellows. When will it end?
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:03:35 pm)

Senorita El Doctor GB:
Ayayayayay!!!!! Is time to go. Adios.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:04:31 pm)

Myk Murphy:
around here, we have huge populations of salavdoran and peruvian folks. peruvian chicken is amazing.
(Mon Dec 4, 2000 - 12:04:43 pm)
