Tommorow i'm going to Kalamazoo, attending a friends birthday whose bands playing at (taking over) an open mike. i'm expected to play a set as well. Here's my set: I'm a little rocket ship-cracker, shelter from the storm-dylan, heaven-hitchcock, thunder road-b.springsteen(nice on accoustic..heh heh.), scotch & soda-kingston trio, withered and died-richard thompson, and finally mr.rock&roll-hitchcock.......and if it all goes well and they want more.. i'll play 'thanks alot'-filter for an encore. should be fun...His drummer is an excellent conga player, and ken is a virtuoso on accoustic 12 string, along with an old college friend of mine who will be playing bass., must admit, i can't wait, i know i'm ready, but it's also been a while since i've played in public. wish me well. peace. out.

1 can of black beans, 1 can of kidney beans, approx. 1pound of ground beef, 1 can of stewed tomatoes,-or minced, 1 can of tomatoe sauce- three cloves of crushed garlice, one whole onion(diced), 1 green pepper&1 orange pepper, 4 celery sticks chopped, a dash or two of curry, 4 tables spoons of Braggs liquid Aminos(excellent salt substitute), 1 Hersheys Chocolate bar, and enough chili powder added to make it spicy and so you don't taste any chocolate, and a couple table spoons of Louisiana's pure Bayou Heat sauce, and a dash of Cayenne pepper. and yer set. slow cook.
