Queenie:
So did absolutely NO ONE get that reference?
(Fri Oct 20, 2000 - 3:33:19 pm)

Chewing Wax:
A reference to what?
(Fri Oct 20, 2000 - 3:37:48 pm)

(Fri Oct 20, 2000 - 3:44:40 pm)

Chewing Wax:

(Fri Oct 20, 2000 - 4:06:23 pm)

Myk Murphy:
quite soon, our mass culture will obliterate the need for explanations, and all language will be used for references only. "darmok & jalad, at tanagra".
(Fri Oct 20, 2000 - 4:51:01 pm)

Chewing Wax:
She didn't do the line right. It's if my head was veal how much would it be worth. So there you go.
(Fri Oct 20, 2000 - 4:53:27 pm)

:

One months pay.
(Fri Oct 20, 2000 - 5:21:21 pm)

Queenie:
"If my head were veal, what would it weigh?" I'm sure of it!
(Fri Oct 20, 2000 - 5:26:25 pm)

:
Now, if my head were veal, which I know it is not, if my head were veal, how much would it be worth? who do you think would win in a fight between a dog my head and a monkey?
(Fri Oct 20, 2000 - 5:38:27 pm)

:
you know, if the angle was right?
(Fri Oct 20, 2000 - 5:40:56 pm)

Decoy:
Alright, I'll bite. If your head were made of veal it would be worth and indeterminate amount of money bacause it would be impossible to quantify the amount of veal it would take to replace your head. Given the chemical composition of veal could not in any way functionally replace a real head, the density would not correlate to the veal facsimile. With the relative inability of veal to conduct thought, and the loose organization of the neural net, and the neurons and the dendrites and the gray matter and the tasty moist white meat pounded thin and the hey hey hey ...

I had a weird dream last night that Wax and I were in a car and we were on some weird bridge between Vancouver and Buffalo. I made a Uturn to not continue into Vang and we found our way into a tunnel. It was not passable by car so we were walking back to Buffalo when the tunnel turned into a chute and we slid down it to this platform where this was this tall brunette named Deana in a red cocktail dress. She showed us into this adjacent room where the was a cocktail party. This room also happened to be below this building which was actually in Vancouver and we climbed some stairs to get out onto the street and it was a commercial / industrial area like I think doesn't exist in Vancouver. There was this sign on a building that read "Fleet Operations," it was a ship builder. We went in and it was all high tech and glass and dark with groups of engineer types talking together around scattered worktables and there was partially assembled machinery every where. Then, I saw it as we were passing one of the worktables, a gray box of Craftsmen drill bits with the word "moochİ" written on it. I looked around trying to figure in my mind which person the drill bits may belong to, but I couldn't, so I said, "Hey mooch!" One of them said, "What that, eh?" And it was a guy that looked a lot like a well groomed, soft spoken, conservative, pocket protector wearing, pencil behind the ear, engineer. So the three of us hung around and mooch showed us how he is a ship architect and builds navy ships for the US military. Then we went back to the cocktail party where mooch gave me a stock tip on a company that whose stock value he thought would crater because he knew that his company was going to discontinue using them as a supplier of Microsoft Excel. Then I woke up. This is all the honest truth. There was more but I can't remember.
