Azure still doesn't have the hang of swimming. I asked the vet, "have you ever heard of a black lab that can't swim". She said no. And so I go, "Well, now you have." She loves going in the water, but she just slaps at it with her front legs and starts tipping herself over. It's one of the saddest things you'll ever see. I was working on it with her all last week at the lake. She was getting much better. But should you really have to teach a dog how to swim? Blue knew right away how to swim. But, they have webbed feet. So go figure.
