I got a portrait attachment and close-up attachment that enables me to get closer to the subject (without it you have to be like 4 or 5 feet away).

and even with the flash, you still have to be in a fairly well lit room otherwise you'll just end up with a blindingly white person and all black behind them and it's no good.

I don't like that kind of case though. there's another kind that's so great, it's black with a handle and a clasp, once a guy asked me if it actually had a polaroid in it or if I was using it as a purse, that's how cool looking it is

yeah they're cheap cause everyone and their dad has one in the basement. and even the film is no more expensive than your regular instamatic film, like a buck a picture. er... a quid a picture...

eh that one doesn't come with anything but a cold clip which is nothing special, it's this metal thing you stick the picture into and stick it under your armpit to develop when it's cold. cause it's hi-tech!

try to find a 250, it's got a better focusing mechanism than the 300 and 400 ones, in my opinion.

it's only expensive at first when you have to fool around and experiment to find its quirks. I swear I've shot with ten of these and each one has its own weird setting tweaks and quirks you have to discover, sort of like driving old cars, you know?
