And the fumes from the Jerry Curl were overwhelming. I was doubled over in pain, the sound of hissing steam in my ears, when suddenly I noticed Frank's red clown nose sitting in the gutter on the side of the road.

I was about to try to crawl over to the nose when I was hit on the head by a pair of shoes.

yeah, wax is right... the guy just knows that having the date at the apartment means a high likelihood of success. as for your show, bela, i hope you have a great one. squeeze the bejesus out of that poor accordion.

as for coal, i hear that it makes a diamond if you compress it really hard. perhaps joe just thinks you're really compressed. maybe he wants you to loosen up. giggle.

it was the night of the girl drummers last night. my friend jen is a wicked little drummer and her band played really well. i am a new fan. but even more surprising was one of the support bands - maggi, pierce and EJ from the states. they were awesome. so good i ran over and immediately bought their new CD. i'm going to make copies and force to lounge to love them.

Check out the sales pitch for the Metasonix TX-1 Agoniser effects pedal.

'The TX-1 uses an obscure TV tube from the 1960s which nobody has
ever used for audio before.'

'if you buy a TX-1... your dog will chew your genitals off'

'there is a real danger of the Agonizer damaging some types of
solid-state equipment.'

'As a presumably-clear-enough warning, The Agonizer bears cartoons of
naked women torturing animals'

I don't know, it was fun I guess. We had a pedal steel player and a banjo player play with us last night and I sort of have a little crush on the pedal steel player so I was determined to flirt with him and he was flirting with me. It was kind of funny, I was going to make a big pass at him but I got stuck in the stall of the bathroom and he left. Whatever, don't ask. I feel like crap.

HAMBURG, Germany (Reuters) -- The sound of 40 kg (90 pounds) of
finely tuned cucumbers, leeks, potatoes, radishes, peppers, aubergines and
marrows entertained a German audience at a weekend concert by the
Viennese Vegetable Orchestra.

The nine-piece orchestra plays a range of original compositions on
instruments constructed from vegetables -- including a flute made from a
carrot, a saxophone carved out of a cucumber and a pumpkin converted into
a double bass.

"I would never have thought you could get sound out of a cucumber," a
young woman at the concert said. Others commented on the raw vegetable
aroma accompanying the melodies.
