Paleoclimatologists theorize that interglacial periods come to an end when polar ice caps melt rapidly (due to high atmospheric temperatures) and increase the amount of fresh water in the sub-polar oceans, thereby altering the thermohaline circulation patterns which govern global climate. The thermohaline "conveyor belts" essentially shut down and stop moving warm water and air away from the equator toward the poles. The net result is colder water and air temperatures. These colder temperatures deepen and continue despite high GTG concentrations left over from the previous interglacial phases

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Former "Baywatch" star Pamela Anderson became a U.S. citizen Wednesday, her lawyer said.

Anderson, 36, who was born in British Columbia, underwent an interview and passed a 10-question citizenship test. She was then sworn in at a private ceremony, her attorney Barbara Federman said.

three things --

1. Today they fired a wacky morning DJ in Rick's building because he played the audio of the Berg killing over and over while giggling and taunting it.

2. It seems that Myk was right about the abuse being encouraged as acceptable technique by higher-ups.

3. This is probably the most ill-advised headline I've ever read: "Beheading victim loved ‘adventure, risk’"... how that got past an editor I'll never know.

(Fri May 14, 2004 - 9:59:06 am)

bela:
I was at the Pour House, this bar at the top of my old street. I met my sis and her boyfriend there for a drink. Tom and I used to hang out there and Tom knows one of the owners, Lori, really well. Joe called me and he was at another bar and wanted to come by and say hi to me so I told him he could. I wasn't thinking. We were fooling around at the bar and I didn't even notice that Lori was bartending. Great. Just great. She was just staring at me. Shes this big puerto rican girl. Well, if she says something to Tom I'm going to fuck with her. Its none of his business what I'm doing and it certainly isn't hers and if she mentions something to him I'm going to let her have it.
(Fri May 14, 2004 - 10:04:18 am)

bela:
I mean, I don't think he sees her all that much, so I can't imagine she would see it as her place to say soemthing to him if she sees him. She also owns this little cafe right around the corner from Tom and he goes in there once and awhile. Whatever, I'm not going to worry about it. So nosey.
(Fri May 14, 2004 - 10:05:55 am)

Froupie:

(Fri May 14, 2004 - 10:33:34 am)

bela:
I can't worry about it and I've done nothing wrong. I just don't want tom to be hurt more than he is - thats all. Whatever, JOe looked really cute last night, he had all stubble. Then the fucker left. He was drinking with his friends and he left them to say hi to me because he had to see me and he had to go back to them. I guess they're getting mad that they don't see him cause he keeps disappearing with me. Thats fine, I went home and went to bed.

The problems caused by breeders is painful and gut- wrenching. The Chihuahua, the most vulnerable and smallest of dogs, is a prime and defenseless target for abuse and neglect. Overbreeding causes dogs with congenital defects, which leads to more Chihuahuas being "disposed of" in streets, along freeways, dumpsters...and worse.
