I hate arguing with Rick. He fucking talks for a living, he's so fast and even when he's saying something completely illogical, he'll totally run me over with just sheer speed and vocabulary, I can't compete with that. I suck at verbal communication; I'm slow and soft-spoken. He's just like a machine gun with that shit. I know his patterns so well by now, though. But I just can't hold up my end of an argument in the face of that fucking onslaught of words. We wrote a scene for Bigger Than Jesus in which he has this screaming fight with his girlfriend, and he uses these phrases like "unmitigated temerity" and we laughed about it at the time but it's so true. Anyway it just makes me insane. Okay I just needed to vent, I'm not going to talk about it anymore.
