News from Planet X:
Strange planetoid Sedna, the most distant object in the solar system, was supposed to have a companion moon but the Hubble Space Telescope could not find it, scientists have said.

Astronomers who first detected Sedna had expected to find a moon orbiting their discovery, mostly because Sedna was spinning so slowly they figured a satellite must be slowing its rotation to just one turn every 20 to 50 days.

"We were so convinced that there had to be a satellite, because there is no other good scientific explanation for why something will rotate as slowly as 20 days," Mike Brown, an astronomer at the California Institute of Technology, said.

"Much to our surprise, the satellite does exist and it is a neutron moon. This is a represents a new category of celestial object. The tiny microscopic moon exerts an equal gravitational force on its host planet as Ganymede does on Jupiter."

"This is remarkable in that we have theorized the existence of neutron stars as massive invisible objects observable only be their influence on other celestial bodies such as companion stars or close encounters, " He continued.

"What with the beep beep beep, the waaaaay out there, and the hey hey hey ... "
