Queenie:
I just read a description of a blend of coffee that read, "lively yet complex." It's fucking coffee, for christ sake!

I don't think our exchanges are imbecilic.

That's just atrocious grammar. Fucking-H-Christ on rollerskates. A lowest attempt at employing a dialectic. Hagel would puke. Stupid yet imbecilic. Even if you're describing a 1947 Bourillon D'Orleans Vouvray Moelleux, it sounds like gibber.

Queenie:
I have yet to sample the coffee. I will be sure to let you know if it lives up to it's "lively yet complex" reputation.

Ken had NO airtime during yesterday's game by the way. And the corporate sponsor made him take his banner down - the one with the URL to his website. And yet he had to play next to a ten foot tall giant inflatible bag of Tostitos. But they played well and got paid well, so no big whoop.

Did anyone see the Whiskey ad during the Jets-TB game. I thought that those liquor ads were forbidden? It was for Jack Daniels Tennesee Whiskey. That's not even good whiskey.

Myk Murphy:
i hope everyone had a lovely weekend. regarding the liquor ads, here's the story: they were never banned from tv, but the spirits companies and the US gov't made what was called a "gentlemen's agreement" on the issue. in the last half decade or so, with the rise of microbrew beer and such, these companies have been doing rather poorly. about a year or 2 ago they announced that they felt they would have to violate the agreement in order to survive. the government took no issue with this, i think. by the way, i dig the balloons.

It's all gone so wrong. I do a search on Lambchop, the band and I get this. I do a search on Calexico, I get information about a dismal town in California. And then I post some rubbish first.
