...locally up to 5 inches where lake snows persist...mainly east of Rochester. Lows in the lower 20s. Northwest winds 15 to 30 mph.
(Sun Apr 4, 2004 - 9:20:04 pm)
Myk Murphy:
yikes, more snow. it's just oddly cold here, but no snow.
(Sun Apr 4, 2004 - 9:21:36 pm)
Decoy:
And thanks for the kind wishes. You guys are the best.

Heruka:
my granmas in the hospital. we visited her today. she never recovered from my fathers death. and my father never recovered from my mothers death. strange how it works.
(Sun Apr 4, 2004 - 9:26:57 pm)
Myk Murphy:
oh, birthday wishes! heh. i thought you had twisted an ankle or something mildly tragic. a very happy birthday. you're only as old as you feel, or you're only as old as wax.... whichever is older.
(Sun Apr 4, 2004 - 9:27:16 pm)
Myk Murphy:
i hope she's doing well, heruka. give her the lounge's collective best.
(Sun Apr 4, 2004 - 9:28:28 pm)
Heruka:
you get to a certain age and you get too old to recover from a close ones death. it would seem.
(Sun Apr 4, 2004 - 9:30:09 pm)
Myk Murphy:
i've wondered about the same topic recently. how do some people grieve "well" and some cannot? is it age? something else? i don't know.
(Sun Apr 4, 2004 - 10:00:55 pm)
Heruka:
yeah, it's weird. I was very close to my parents when they died. but now I don't think about them a lot. maybe a couple of times a month. while others think about their deceased parents everyday. I don't want to sound cold.
(Sun Apr 4, 2004 - 10:13:10 pm)
Myk Murphy:
nothing cold about that. it's possible that some folks can dwell too much on those who have died. rely on them too much, perhaps. and with those cheery thoughts, i'm off to bed.
(Sun Apr 4, 2004 - 10:58:45 pm)
Decoy:
That's not cold. Everyone is different. Its is cold OUTside.
(Mon Apr 5, 2004 - 7:51:54 am)
