It's a lovely snow. From Heaven sent. And say what you want about bourbon Myk, but if it's from Virginia, it's sour mash to me.

(Sat Feb 21, 2004 - 4:03:19 pm)

(Sat Feb 21, 2004 - 5:16:49 pm)

Myk Murphy:
good grief. the $230 million multi-state lottery has one winning ticket in stephens city, virginia, an hour west of here. this place is a small town, rather than a city, right on I-81 in the shenandoah valley. great location for apple picking.
(Sat Feb 21, 2004 - 5:17:28 pm)

Myk Murphy:
chorizo sausage? we fix that up at home on a regular basis, pal. good lord, it's lunch... a few tacos will do nicely.

I'm making a beef stew, taking all damn day, but the house smells yummy. That photo reminds me of going out onto the Chesapeake Bay in our little 25' sailboat. The best times were when it very nearly capsized. We'd sit on the edge like that, the water up to our knees. I'd be terrified to do it now. I'm all grown up and scared of everything.
