Myk Murphy:

(Sat Jan 31, 2004 - 10:36:10 pm)

Heruka:

(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 2:33:24 am)

Heruka:
I miss Sleepy. very much.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 2:36:02 am)

Heruka:
I dunno.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 2:39:13 am)

Heruka:
I see the world trough the oors eyeses. not in a condescending european manner, but thrugh my own experiences, my wofe and what my bro tells me.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 2:45:33 am)

Heruka:
am I wrong t0 be jealous of my brother to seen things that wiuld mae most of the first wol;d pyke?>
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 2:46:08 am)

Heruka:
my bro tlls me ogf a story in which he sees a man smother his infant daughter to death because he cannot ffed her.

he's the uker who went t brasil and watched people starve as a result of green[eabes desire to contriol farm animals.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 2:48:51 am)

:
Didn't he stop this guy? Then your brother is as guilty as the child killer himself.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 7:08:08 am)

Decoy:
I have a shiny penny.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 9:17:29 am)

Myk Murphy:
it seems a bit too easy to instantly blame heruka's brother. most people don't sit idly by while something like that happen. the devil is in the details, no doubt.

i'd like to hear more about this shiny penny.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 10:49:03 am)

Heruka:
you may be oversimplyfying the matter slightly, moron.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 12:11:46 pm)

Heruka:
inmfantcide is still practiced in several countries that I know of. and probably many that I don't.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 12:15:04 pm)

Heruka:
why do I even try? the lounge is about half full of nitwits.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 12:18:28 pm)

Heruka:
my time here in the lounge is running short. I'm done I think.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 12:25:20 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Nit wits.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 12:37:52 pm)

Chewing Wax:
That's why the loung needs Heruka. To counter point the surrealism of the underlying nitwitism.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 12:39:07 pm)

Heruka:
I dunno. it's just not very fun here anymore.

(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 1:35:51 pm)

Heruka:
what the hell does this mean?
surrealism of the underlying nitwitism.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 1:36:07 pm)

Decoy:
It means that if you were Inuit you might have been left out in the cold so that the family could survive. They still do that today and no-one writes articles about it. You really can't presume to put anyone else's cultural norms, mores, and values in the context of your own. People will think you are French - and that's bad.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 2:07:29 pm)

Decoy:
Heh, the doughboy in the oven still has his hat on. Excellent picture.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 2:08:30 pm)

Decoy:
Oh yeah, and the penny is a 2000 Denver mint issue. That reminds me of a story. I had found a couple of pennies over the course of the summer - you know, just in your change and what not, that were really old. One was 1945 and the other was 1936. I had them on top of my monitor at work. One day the CEO comes in and is talking to me and out of nervous habit he picks them up and starts rubbing them together and turning them over in his hands - next thing you know, he's done talking, the pennies go into his pocket and he leaves - before I can even think of how to phrase something. Two cents. and I know we didn't make sales goals that month despite.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 2:14:03 pm)

Decoy:
Oh, and we learned about the Innuit thing in college - Liberal Arts College. It is truly a wide world - even if you are from Cleveland/Akron.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 2:15:56 pm)

Myk Murphy:
ah, the liberal arts. my degree is a BA from a liberal arts school, and i wouldn't change it for the world.

i just downloaded a tune from that scottish band "franz ferdinand". good lord, things are coming full circle from the mid-80s college art-rock scene. i'm not as down on modern music as i was before.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 2:33:50 pm)

Myk Murphy:
in all fairness, decoy, the french lecture the americans about imposing our cultural mores on the world. the french wish to thwart us, however, simply because they're currently on the take from "corrupt dictatorship A" or "B". the french and russians were in on a sweetheart deal with saddam, which is why they were jockeying against us up to the lack second before the invasion, and it provided saddam false hope that he would prevail. in that context, so much of the violence required to take iraq could have been avoided if the french and russians had stood with us and been cooperative. who knows... maybe they could have kept a few contracts intact, too.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 2:38:01 pm)

Myk Murphy:
heh heh, substitute "last" for "lack" in the previous posting. also, i dropped a "had" from the penultimate sentence.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 2:39:49 pm)

Heruka:
there has to be standrds, smothering children is just not accpetable in this day and age. BUT, it's something that will take time. no-one likes to watch their child die. there has to be a standard for human rights. if there isn't, then we're no better than europe.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 2:47:29 pm)

Detlef Sping:
Don't worry Myk, the underlying nitwitism here allows us to understand the most surreal of spelling and contex. it's almost impossible to speak without vowels, but learning to read without them relies on context, and occasionally there is confusion, for sure.
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 2:50:57 pm)

Detlef Sping:
smothering children?
(Sun Feb 1, 2004 - 2:51:41 pm)
