Mrs Dr GB:
She's as cute as a button, but then I'm biased. She says about 80 words, including some very important ones - chocolate, tattoo, guitar. And when she sees a picture of Elvis she says "king".

The Weather:
Northeast
When you see a polar bear in Filene's Basement in Boston searching for a winter coat, you know you’re in trouble. In fact, for the next couple of days, polar bears--and even they may be wrapped in anoraks--will be about the only living creatures likely to be comfortable in eastern New York and New England. Intensely cold arctic air has invaded the region and shows no signs of retreating through Friday. If anything, the frigid onslaught will grow even more agonizing tomorrow and tomorrow night in the wake of clipper system racing offshore and exploding into an ocean monster. That clipper, through tonight, will lay down a blanket of 3- to 6-inch snows (locally more) across Pennsylvania and New Jersey (and southward through West Virginia). Lesser amounts will coat southern New York, Long Island and southwestern New England. Then, as the storm screams out to sea and intensifies Thursday, winds once again will howl with a Siberian vengeance over the entire Northeast. Imprisoned by the vicious gusts, temperatures may actually lose ground in New England during the day tomorrow. By Friday morning, readings probably will have been driven to nadirs even lower than those attained this morning. Folks in New York City, for instance, could see thermometers registering close to zero with wind chills making being outdoors, well... unbearable.
