(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 2:53:26 pm)

(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 2:53:33 pm)
Myk Murphy:
i thought all the lumber companies had cleared the pacific northwest by now. what have bush and cheney been doing the past few years?
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 2:54:09 pm)
Myk Murphy:
are the glasses more sturdy or is your vision worse?
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 2:54:43 pm)
bela:
There is some homeless guy on 57th Street that has 3 cats out in this weather using them to get money. They're all bundled up in sweaters and in beds but the guy looks like a crackhead and he has a dish near them that says please help. I asked the girls in the glasses store whats up with that and they said he uses them to get money and that he doesn't treat them well. So I called the ASPCA and a cat rescue group in Manhattan. I'm not going to sit back and let that happen if I have to buy them from him. One looked like wolfie and one looked like bela. Someone already reported him to the ASPCA - putting them out in the street in this weather.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 2:55:31 pm)
bela:
I guess my vision is worse. I haven't had my eyes checked in 10 years.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 2:56:21 pm)
bela:
People just enrage me. This is not a good day for me for sure.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 2:57:07 pm)
Chewing Wax:
I want to punch that guy that punched you. I'm full of big brotherly feelings.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 2:58:53 pm)
Queenie:
aww.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:00:23 pm)
bela:
Aw thats nice that guy was a jerkoff but I've moved on I'm going to go crazy about these cats now. And my lot cats in this weather and Jerry.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:00:47 pm)
Queenie:
I had a horrible anxiety attack on the train yesterday, I had to make my friends get off with me in the middle of nowhere until I calmed down. It was so embarrassing. I need some kind of prescription or something.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:01:12 pm)
Decoy:
I knew a guy in college like that. Too much acid.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:02:12 pm)
Myk Murphy:
you buy glasses without verifying your prescription? bad bela. go see an opthamologist (not some silly optometrist) to check your eye health. you should do that every handful of years, at least.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:02:21 pm)
bela:
You know what helps Queenie - if you feel panicky on the train, rub the backs of your ears. This guy that had panic attacks told me about it - it has really worked, I don't know he said it slows down something to your brain. Its always worked for me.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:02:38 pm)
Chewing Wax:
Yeh, that cat thing. Cats are tough though.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:03:17 pm)
bela:
I don't know, it was an optometrist.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:03:27 pm)
Decoy:
Tap the plexus behind your ear. Its true.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:03:46 pm)
Myk Murphy:
that zoloft stuff is supposed to fixed that problem, right? there's a med for every ailment.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:03:52 pm)
Myk Murphy:
i didn't know i had a plexus behind my ear. or is that just something that queenie has?
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:04:29 pm)
bela:
Are they really tough? I hope so, someone else told me that too. I've fed the lot cats tons of food all summer so they would have a good undercoat for the winter. I figure its better to be fed and cold than cold and hungry.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:04:35 pm)
Myk Murphy:
optometrists usually can't determine eye health, just eye prescription. get the whole treatment some time. especially if your insurance will pay.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:05:28 pm)
Myk Murphy:
cats are tough, but i've seen frozen cats. sometimes they can't take the exposure.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:06:16 pm)
bela:
I don't know if it will pay, I can pay for it I don't care. I've already used my vision allowance on this exam.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:06:19 pm)
bela:
I've never seen a frozen cat. You mean frozen dead?
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:06:52 pm)
Queenie:
are you talking about the backs of your actual ear, or the head behind the ear.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:07:59 pm)
Decoy:
Supposedly, if they can get out of the wind, the cold isn't too bad for them. A vet told me that once.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:08:09 pm)
Queenie:
I'll try anything, I was mortified.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:08:34 pm)
Decoy:
The head behind your ear below the base of your skull..
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:09:04 pm)
Queenie:
thank you, i'll try that
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:10:34 pm)
Myk Murphy:
yes, quite dead and quite frozen. a frozen stiff... that was kinda inevitable. we keep our cats inside, but sometimes they like to run out on the back porch when it's cold. with their memory of "life on the streets", however, they promptly retreat indoors.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:12:55 pm)
Froupie:
i have my eyes checked every year, they measure them and i see the back of my eye on a computer screen. kinda cool actually.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:12:57 pm)
bela:
Yeah, behind your ear on your head, in that crease where your ear meets your head.
(Fri Jan 9, 2004 - 3:13:02 pm)
