I'm totally addicted to this fantastic programme we have here called Big Brother. Ten people live in a house together under constant camera and mic surveillance and have no contact with the outside world (and no tv!). At the beginning of each week the contestants have to go into a private room which links up with the programme controllers and nominate two people they think should leave the house. The contestants are then told by the controllers the next day which two had the most votes, but they are unaware who voted for them. At the end of the week the general public get to vote for who they want out from the choice of two. The first person went out last Friday. During the week the housemates have to do various arduous tasks and try not to lose lots of their food budget. The whole programme lasts nine weeks and the final person left in the house wins £70,000. The programme has updates or highlights every day so you can judge what the people are like. Oh, it's marvellous.

Myk Murphy:
yeah, sleepy, we have that show... CBS is airing it as a follow-up to the inexplicably popular "Survivor", based on a swedish show about being stranded on an island. i think CBS does a half hour of it at least 5 nights a week. i've watched it in 5 minute increments, and it seems based on half-dressed cute girls whispering about some guy who is asleep in the next room. it seems eerily like MTV's "the real world", which is set in new orleans, so my better half digs the scenery.

Dr GB:
I'ts my last day in the lounge as a single Dr. Next time I'm back I'll be Mrs Dr GB. Unless I find I have time on my hands (hahahaha! as if!) over the next couple of days. But if I don't, then this is it. Off to put on my puffy sleeves and become Mrs Dr Beardie GB (hyphenated).
