(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:09:38 am)
bela:
I played a melancholy french waltz from the 30s. That must be what they mean. It has some 7th chords and an Eflat7th cord so thats why I guess.

Detlef Sping:
Waterloo sunset would have been an appropriate bathroom song.
(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:12:32 am)

(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:13:25 am)
Detlef Sping:
7th chords are emotional rollercoasters.
(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:13:48 am)

(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:15:06 am)
Detlef Sping:

(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:15:29 am)
Detlef Sping:
Can it be viewed online?
(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:16:16 am)
bela:
No I didn't. He got some press on it though. I missed the FMU record fair this weekend. Tom bought all these Robyn records - hes really into Robyn Hitchcock now. Funny. So Robyn is a Ween fan. I have a story.

(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:22:06 am)
Froupie:
as soon as they got a hole, just sew the other end together and wear them the other way around.
(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:22:22 am)
Froupie:

(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:22:30 am)
Detlef Sping:
Why not just sew up the hole?
(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:22:46 am)

So Tom is really into RH now, even though hes had a few of his albums - early Egyptians. So our friend Pauly is really good friends with Ween. And Ween was playing at Roseland last week when RH was in town. So Tom told Paul in passing that he saw Robyn and that he really liked the show a lot and Pauly said he was backstage wit Ween and this tall English guy was back there but he told someone to tell Gregg thanks for the tickets. I guess Robyn was recording at this studio in Manhattan and Gregg is the guy that owns it that Pauly knows too. I guess Robyn left Ween he had to go.
(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:23:13 am)
Froupie:

(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:23:20 am)

Silly little story.
(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:24:10 am)

(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:24:54 am)

(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:27:16 am)
bela:
He looks tall to me. I don't know. He lives next door to John Paul Jones though he said. John Paul Jones is a ween fan too so there you go. Bass player from Ween was telling Tom that JPJ was at a dinner with them.
(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:27:49 am)
Detlef Sping:
What did he eat?
(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:28:40 am)
bela:
Buffet food I heard.
(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:30:26 am)
Detlef Sping:
Probably fish and chips, or a pudding made of kidneys.
(Mon Nov 10, 2003 - 11:30:53 am)
Froupie:
