bela:
Everyone went home early?
(Fri Nov 7, 2003 - 4:07:08 pm)
Myk Murphy:
I'm just heading home now, bela. As for movies, i won't go to the theaters anymore. People with cell phones and talking and wailing babies. Investing in a home theater gets a 100% return on investment.
(Fri Nov 7, 2003 - 4:11:19 pm)
Chewing Wax:
I came back to work but it's been busy busy. This is the first lull.

(Fri Nov 7, 2003 - 4:42:22 pm)
Chewing Wax:
The New York Times, for what it's worth, loved Elf and didn't much care for Runaway Jury. But what the hell do they know?
(Fri Nov 7, 2003 - 4:59:21 pm)
Myk Murphy:
yeah, but honestly... is there a film that you can't really wait to see? the only thing i go to the theaters to see is the LOTR trilogy. i can even wait on the matrix films.
(Fri Nov 7, 2003 - 5:19:13 pm)

(Fri Nov 7, 2003 - 7:40:57 pm)
Myk Murphy:
that is an excellent soundtrack for the evening. it's funny how our musical tastes converge. mind bomb... haven't listened to the the in quite a while.
(Fri Nov 7, 2003 - 7:46:35 pm)
Heruka:
well, we are here because of Robyn. if either was a big Madonna fan, the chances of us meeting on a musical bbs would have been slim.
I haven't listened to this stuff in a long time. in retrospect, I(we) had and still have killer tatse in music.
(Fri Nov 7, 2003 - 7:49:47 pm)
Myk Murphy:
that's the good thing about getting older.... your musical taste doesn't have to simplify.
(Fri Nov 7, 2003 - 8:07:44 pm)
Queenie:
my musical taste is much broader than when I was young. I'm open to just about anything these days, and always looking looking for exciting new music.

(Fri Nov 7, 2003 - 11:27:23 pm)
Chewing Wax:
I was just wondering if Myk had some inside deal with movies. I agree with him. Movies can wait. Who knows the difference. Except for the LOTRings. Hasn't let me down.
(Fri Nov 7, 2003 - 11:30:04 pm)
Chewing Wax:
As for horror movies, I still think The Exorcist is number one. I recently saw The Ring, and I have to say, that's a super creepy movie. I loved it. And it spooked me out.
(Fri Nov 7, 2003 - 11:31:08 pm)
Chewing Wax:
