Sounds like that was him. Well he has some pictures of Franco to cheer him up. I hope no one was hurt. I found out yesterday that Tom has to have emergency surgery on his neck. Hes had 3 MRIs last week to find out why his whole body is numb all the time and now they know why. There is a disc in his neck out of place and it is literally crushing his spine, I saw it last night on the xray so hes meeting with the suregeon this morning to schedule it. His doctor told him if the surgeon fucks up he could be paralyzed. Its too much to think about.

i'm sure the op will go fine, these surgeons know what theyre doing. all doom and gloom here too, my sister found out yesterday that she has lupus, her hair is falling out in clumps and she will have to be on strong medication for the rest of her life.

its horrible, she was in hospital 2 and half months ago all her joints swelled up, the hospital thought it was meningitis and did a lumber puncture which i sat through with her because she was terrified. and shes only 24.

Oh no, thats terrible. Poor kid. Is she going to be ok? I know the prognosis for lupus wasn't great for this woman but that was years ago when i knew her. I'm sure things have changed, that was the late 80s.

she has to take a combination of steroids and other medication.

shes very depressed right now, her specialist told her she will probably feel a lot worse before it gets a bit better because they need to try out different levels of medication to find the right balance for her.

but yeah its treatable, but she needs to stay on medication all her life, plus she will probably have kidney troubles and whatnot because her body will keep trying to attack itself.

I'd say the surgery is necessary. He can't walk that well and his left arm and legs are numb all the time, he can barely feel his feet. I saw the crushing disc, it looked painful.
