The Yip Song is being used by Children's BBC as the theme tune to a surreal and Pythonesque kids sitcom called Bad Penny. It stars Anne Foy as Penny who's actually the good one constantly trying to thwart the bizarre criminal activities of her roguish family. The cast also boasts Graham Fellows a.k.a. comedian John Shuttleworth.

Myk Murphy:
i'm going to go out on a limb and guess that his "yip" lyrics involving septisemia, surgery and so forth might get omitted. hell, it could be quite a cheerful song if they keep to the yip part.
i'm glad it helped, wax. messenger active by default is just another example of how microsoft is looking out for your best interests.

Squatters causing delay:
MIRI: The stubborn attitude of squatters is hampering government plans to provide them with good quality low-cost units, Deputy Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Peter Fah Kyoo said. He said the problem was particularly glaring in the Klang Valley. Fah Kyoo said RM1.5bil had been set aside for the construction of low-cost homes for squatters and 2005 had been set as the target year for these projects to be implemented. ''Until today, less than 40% of the intended projects had been successfully completed,'' he said in an interview. Fah Kyoo said the Klang Valley was facing the most pressing need. Apart from squatter relocation, Fah Kyoo said, the ministry was trying to rehabilitate abandoned grimy housing projects that were previously undertaken by the ministry.

I think I'm going to regret us not leaving this year. in fact, I know I probably will. at least I will this winter. but had we left, we would have left last week, or more likely this week as we would have waited in Isabel. but next summer, we'll have time to cruise LI sound, go up to boston, and hang in NYC for a couple of weeks. we may also consider heading up the Chessie Bay and Potomac River. There's supposed to be a great anchorage there in DC somewhere. and it's free. all this as opposed to just running south as quick as possible in the fall.

ooh, I love red walls! I wish we could paint. Everything here is white, white, white. The landlord doesn't want us to paint. My plan is.. in January, after we've been here a year and proven ourselves reliable with paying on time and everything, I'm going to approach him again with the idea. White walls are slowly making me insane.
