Sleepy:
No rain here. Hello.
(Fri Sep 19, 2003 - 3:18:17 pm)

Heruka:
Hello. would you like some rain? shall I do my rain dance for you? yeah, England is such a dry place. a little rain is needed there.
(Fri Sep 19, 2003 - 3:19:06 pm)

Sleepy:
I'm looking forward to Autumn, although it doesn't really seem to exist any more. More of a sudden descent into Winter.
(Fri Sep 19, 2003 - 3:22:29 pm)

Heruka:
yep. it'll be snowing soon. next month I bet. then we'll have snow till June once again. pah.
(Fri Sep 19, 2003 - 3:27:47 pm)

Heruka:
we're going out tonight, good, I'm starving.
(Fri Sep 19, 2003 - 4:13:34 pm)

Sleepy:
Hey. This is exciting - for me, anyway. We found out today at work, that for our Christmas lunch, we are hopefully going... to Brussels! How cool is that?!
(Fri Sep 19, 2003 - 4:14:27 pm)

Sleepy:
Like I said to Cushca, I'm gonna have to kiss-ass 'til Christmas. Which would make a lovely song title.
(Fri Sep 19, 2003 - 4:15:52 pm)

Sleepy:
Must get through the probationary period you see.
(Fri Sep 19, 2003 - 4:17:06 pm)

Sleepy:
Then I can be bad.
(Fri Sep 19, 2003 - 4:17:30 pm)

Sleepy:
Ha.
(Fri Sep 19, 2003 - 4:17:43 pm)

Heruka:
Brussels? Cushca hates sprouts. and it would seem that Brussels is overflowing with them.
(Fri Sep 19, 2003 - 4:31:32 pm)

Sleepy:
The sprouts are harmless in Winter. They sit huddled together in bars drinking fruit-flavoured beers.
(Fri Sep 19, 2003 - 4:51:27 pm)

Heruka:
I'm out. have a nice night.

wish me luck. Im going down to my old girlfriends house in southern INdiana on 23 acres of wooded land. We are going to do an Indian sweat ceromony in her lodge she built. Pray that I win her and finally break out of this loner non-girlfriend state I've been for the past several years.

Myk Murphy:
good morning, folks. our power is back, but the water isn't safe to drink, since all the purifying stations lost power. we can shower with it, apparently, so that's ok.

a beautiful day. last night my brother in law and i installed a furnace. speaking of crack (see pic posted below), i cracked my windshield trying to load 10ft PVC pipe into my suv. oops. other than that, the furnace installation went well, and i've learned a lot. isn't that the important thing?

i was scheduled to start a beach trip today, but i think we'll go tomorrow. the delaware seashore was largely spared from the indignity of isabel.
(Sat Sep 20, 2003 - 10:03:01 am)

Myk Murphy:
an indian sweat ceremony? hooking up certainly is complicated in indiana. flowers & chocolate, dinner & a movie... have you tried these options first?
(Sat Sep 20, 2003 - 10:05:56 am)

Chewing Wax:
Good morning. Time to mow the lawn and watch some college football.
(Sat Sep 20, 2003 - 11:18:12 am)

Chewing Wax:
Hey Myk or Decoy, what can I do about these annoying desktop pop-up windows that XP seems to have provided for me?
(Sat Sep 20, 2003 - 11:19:20 am)

Heruka:
download Panicware. pop-up-stopper.

or are you talking about the "balloons"?. download "Powertoys" for XP from the Microsoft site. And you can tweak things from that program. it's free, and comes highly recommended.
(Sat Sep 20, 2003 - 11:28:38 am)

Heruka:
good morning. I'm not feeling well. the fish tacos last night may have did something to me.
(Sat Sep 20, 2003 - 11:29:26 am)

Chewing Wax:
Yeh, those fucking retarded balloons.
(Sat Sep 20, 2003 - 11:43:43 am)

Chewing Wax:
I ate something that kept me up all night. Reheated pizza? Or maybe the gin.
(Sat Sep 20, 2003 - 11:44:05 am)

Chewing Wax:
Thanks for the advice.
(Sat Sep 20, 2003 - 11:44:33 am)

Myk Murphy:
the balloons are really annoying, but there's also the square pop-ups that can be disabled (i think) by ensuring that MSN messenger is off (and not loaded in the system tray). as for panicware's pop-up stopper, i do recommend it, but i really like the IE google toolbar that has pop-up stopping built-in. a small install, no nagging, and it gives you a google search built in, too.
(Sat Sep 20, 2003 - 4:05:39 pm)

Heruka:
Messenger is off the tray eh? I just used panicware, it's always worked for me.
IE gogle toolbar? I may have to look into that.
nice day here. we're getting the grilled fired up, and having a fire camp tonight.

Heruka:
California is doomed.
(Sat Sep 20, 2003 - 5:01:48 pm)

Detlef Sping:
We're all doomed
(Sat Sep 20, 2003 - 5:16:24 pm)

Sleepy:
Someone at work emailed us the answer to your XP pop-up query, but I think I deleted the email. I hope I have been a great help.
(Sat Sep 20, 2003 - 5:41:43 pm)

Myk Murphy:
don't worry, sleepy. most of us work with helpful system admins who offer about the same level of service. xp tries way too hard to be cute. if i wanted cute, i'd be typing this on a mac.
(Sat Sep 20, 2003 - 6:05:55 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Yeh, exiting MS Messenger seems to have worked. I didn't even know the fucker was on.
(Sat Sep 20, 2003 - 8:51:03 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Thanks Myk.
