I thougtht that thing has died down. Anyway, I became enraged this morning. It wasn't enough this idiot family was milling around right outside the entrance of the train in Manhattan - stairing down the stairwell like they were waiting for someone, they had one of their kids on a leash. Why don't they just put it in a crate and wheel it around.

Mrs Dr GB:
I'm wondering whether I ought to make the builder a cup of tea. It's 4.20 and he did start work at 3.00 today. After sitting in the garden reading the paper, waiting for bricks to be delivered.

Real coal fires are once again fuelling the British public’s imagination with more and more people welcoming them into their homes. :
This winter an estimated three million people will be warmed-up by solid waste fuel, with many more discovering for the first time the delights of a traditional peat fire. A typical fireback opening is about 580mm wide x 355mm deep and 635-650mm high. Fitting out or repairing the fireback can be easily done with purpose-made fire bricks available and delivered from most builder’s merchants.
