Myk Murphy:
is that the final straw, heruka? you're now totally free to relocate to a place where the pro team doesn't suck.

Myk Murphy:
ok, i got it: plug nose, don't drink water. otherwise, it sounds lovely.

Myk Murphy:
buffalo residents must be huge NFC East fans... the bills-eagles and the bills-redskins games are sold out. the online service says that "tickets are not available".

your optimism is charming, but misplaced.

Myk Murphy:
if i head up to buffalo, of course, i'll want to sit in the "Tops Family Section". the last thing i'd want is a lot of beer drinking going on in my seating section.
(Sun Sep 14, 2003 - 5:11:07 pm)
Chewing Wax:
Tops family section was designed for people like you.
(Sun Sep 14, 2003 - 5:12:01 pm)
Myk Murphy:

And just a note, the city hasn't smelled since they closed down the steel plant back in 1983. It smells, as I've said before, of cherios now. I'm serious. Cherios.
(Sun Sep 14, 2003 - 5:24:33 pm)
Chewing Wax:
And the tap water is DElicious!

I realize the drinking water doesn't have that gasoline taint that the Cleveland folk are so in love with, but it's still good.
(Sun Sep 14, 2003 - 5:32:52 pm)
Myk Murphy:
yeah, it's tough to take criticism from a city with flammable waterways.
(Sun Sep 14, 2003 - 5:41:29 pm)
:
Cherios, eh?

Heruka:
hey, Cleveland is a fine city. not really, it's a dying industrial town.
I may have to attend a Buffalo game myself if the Cleveland Browns don't improve. ot I'll just pickup Cleveland tickets cheap. Hmm.
I like the Browns, alomst always have. except in the mid to late 90's. when there wasn't a team, and for a couple of years before. I couldn't take all the bickering.
If it weren't for the weather, I would have to desire to leave Ohio. I expect the economy to swing back within the next 10 years. if for no other reason than we'll have fresh water, why most of America doesn't.

Heruka:
two questions.
I can get 3 round trip tix to miami for $460. OR, I cant get 2 round trip tix to Palm Beach for $330, but for that we'd have to take a bus or whetever to Miami for the boat show, then take a shuttle to Kew West. my question is, is it worth taking a bus from Palm Beach to Miami to save a total of approx $75 for the trip?
second question, if we buy property in the Keys and put a mobile home there, would we still be considered trailer folk? or is the fact that's in the keys put us in a different ballgame?

Queenie:
So my friend was playing Bunco with the other suburban housewives on friday night, and she was feeling a little nutty so she took a valium. Then she drank some vodka drinks. So she's sitting there, playing the bunco and smoking a cigar... and the next thing she knows, she's waking up the next morning in full restraints in a hospital bed.
Apparently she passed out at some point, and they called an ambulance, and her vitals were really sketchy so they gave her a shot of something that made her go insane. According to witnesses, she screamed and cursed all night, tore through the cloth restraints, kicked the doctor in the stomach, and called the nurse a "dyke mullet bitch".
She woke up sore and exhausted and full of needle jabs, with no idea where she was or how she got there.
Madness. When Bunco goes bad.

that should be 2 tix, not 3 round trip tix to miami

Tell the druggie that she should only take drugs prescribed by her physician. And even then there's always a chance of a bad experience. I can't stand when people take those risks to get a buzz and then act like a victim, idiots. And I also can't s stand Yoko Ono. Naked Ono, plugh.
