I need a miracle every day.

Chewing Wax:
Hey all. What did I miss?
(Mon Sep 1, 2003 - 11:22:17 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I declare Summer is over.
(Mon Sep 1, 2003 - 11:26:29 pm)

Myk Murphy:
don't be so hasty with the declarations, pal. in a few weeks, i'll be doing a trip to the beach. it will feel just like summer.
(Mon Sep 1, 2003 - 11:37:52 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Then that will be a nice Autumn trip to the beach.
(Mon Sep 1, 2003 - 11:38:59 pm)

Chewing Wax:
But Baseball is over in Buffalo. Football is about to start. Summer, alas, is over.
(Mon Sep 1, 2003 - 11:39:39 pm)

Myk Murphy:
actually, the trip will begin before the official end of summer. and, since we don't live up there with the canadians like you do, it stays warm a bit longer.
(Mon Sep 1, 2003 - 11:40:09 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I felt it in the air.
(Mon Sep 1, 2003 - 11:40:45 pm)

Myk Murphy:
yes, winter's chill is only weeks away up in your area, but here, the mangoes stay fresh on the tree all year.
(Mon Sep 1, 2003 - 11:41:39 pm)

Chewing Wax:
I was looking at a nice World map, and I noticed that Buffalo is no farther north than the south of France. It's all about ocean currents and prevaling winds. But either way, Labor Day is the Fashion end of summer. I can no longer wear my white shoes. Summer is over.
(Mon Sep 1, 2003 - 11:42:15 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Actually, we only get the Winter chill in December. But it lasts until May. That's the bitch. From now until December, we have perfect weather.
(Mon Sep 1, 2003 - 11:45:03 pm)

Myk Murphy:
your poor white shoes. this week the weather will be low 80s and thunderstorms every goddamn afternoon. kinda hard to leave summer.

yeah, europe must have made some collective faustian deal to get decent weather with such a pronounced latitudinal problem. london is pretty much on the north pole.
(Mon Sep 1, 2003 - 11:45:14 pm)

Myk Murphy:
i'm afraid that this city has the lock on perfect autumn weather, excepting those time when we don't. our autumns are very pleasant.
(Mon Sep 1, 2003 - 11:46:10 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Good night pal. I owe you a nice bottle wine out of the goodness of my heart.
(Mon Sep 1, 2003 - 11:46:26 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Our autumn is better. I'll bet you a bottle of wine.
(Mon Sep 1, 2003 - 11:46:50 pm)

Myk Murphy:
goodnight, wax. yes, wine is welcome, but take your time. time is abundant.
(Mon Sep 1, 2003 - 11:47:00 pm)

Myk Murphy:
you know better than to wager against me. you know what happened last time.
(Mon Sep 1, 2003 - 11:47:27 pm)

:
I'd like to dedicate this next one to Exxon......

(Tue Sep 2, 2003 - 12:46:03 am)

Don:
Petrified Forest
Human Bark
Beautyless hide from beauty
Bow your eyes 'n heads to the duty of the dead's
Suck the ground
Breathe life into the dead dinosaurs
Let the past demons rear up 'n belch fire in the air of now
The rug's wearing out that we walk on
Sonn it will fray 'n we'll drop
Dead into yesterday
Must the breathing pay for those who breathe in 'n don't
Breathe out
There'd be no gain, brothers, if no one would play
'n for your games count me n' all that can see,
Breathe in 'n out hungry today 'n eat hearty tomorrow
Or eat away 'n be eaten some day
No seed shall sow in salt water
If the dinosaur cries with blood in his eyes
'n eats our babies for our lies
Belches fire in our skies
Maybe I'll die but he'll be rumbling through

you may want to do some morework on that. it reads like an 8th graders diary with symbolism and hidden metaphors that only the writer understands.

my shoe talks,
it says nothing I want to hear.

pretty stupid eh?
(Tue Sep 2, 2003 - 1:52:42 am)

Decoy:
I'll have that wine if no one wants it.
(Tue Sep 2, 2003 - 8:47:54 am)

Hi. Charles Bronson dead. I didn't know he was so old. We sort of know one of his daughters. I had to go to the emergency room on Sunday I had such a bad asthma attack. I really thought I was going to die. I had an ok weekend though beyond that.
