Myk Murphy:
wow, that's some serious fungus.
washington dulles is our key international airport. the backwater airport, i guess, is balt-wash int'l airport up north. southwest uses them.

Heruka:
where's the Reagan International then?
(Mon Aug 25, 2003 - 9:54:07 pm)
Myk Murphy:
reagan international is the one we still just call "national airport" or "washington national". that's the one right on the potomac, way too damn close to the monuments and the capitol and the white house. dulles is the big airport to the west of the city.
(Mon Aug 25, 2003 - 10:03:52 pm)
Myk Murphy:
reagan is not an international airport. well, maybe you can get a flight to the islands, but that's about it.

We got so fucked tonight.
We were going to shoot in this diner, run by a man named Mr. Chin. He agreed to let us use it all night tonight and all night wednesday night. The location manager went back three more times to talk to him about it, and make sure that everything was cool.
So tonight, we all show up to do our thing, and Mr. Chin says, "I change mind. You no get my keys".
We tried to bribe him with money, we begged, we pleaded, but he wouldn't fucking budge. It really sucked beyond description.

(AP) -- The nation's high school class of 2003 achieved the best score on the math section of the SAT exam in at least 36 years, while students' verbal scores hit a 16-year high.
Hmm, of course they keep lowering standards. think this may have anything to do with it?

I was just listening to this economist on NPR who wrote a book called Credit Card Nation. Whew, he makes al lot of sense. I sure hope the government isn't that niave.

We have but 2 credit cards. and only use one. We just finished paying off some of those nasty things, as we didn't want the debt to follow us around on our sailing venture, which has sadly been, put off till next year.

The bankers are the DEVIL. They said that they call people who pay the credit cards off every month "deadbeats." That's me, heh. ... For now, anyway.

Its a leech attached to our economy and its not just sucking all the poor people's money now, its starting to get the middle class, too.
(Tue Aug 26, 2003 - 1:27:56 pm)
Heruka:
it's time to reduce all debt. people really got sucked in during the 90's, and they are continuing this trend.
we don't pay it off, but keep it below $500 or thereabouts. so at a moments notice we can pay it off.
(Tue Aug 26, 2003 - 1:32:08 pm)
Heruka:
people also need to stop buying so much foreign crap. these days, I look closely where a product is made. somethings can't be helped, but I'll be damned if I'm going to buy something made in China over something made is the US to save 50 cents. the job you save may be your own.
(Tue Aug 26, 2003 - 1:33:50 pm)
Detlef Sping:
Pay it off immediately, Think of the compound interest, you can only go wrong owing a cent to Visa or the rest of the plastic vampires.
(Tue Aug 26, 2003 - 1:36:36 pm)
Heruka:
sounds redneckish, I know. but Americans are stupid. they buy a shovel at Home Depot made in China instead of their local hardware store to save $1, then wonder why the factory is cosing down.
(Tue Aug 26, 2003 - 1:37:11 pm)
Detlef Sping:
Use Visa only as you would a paper cheque only pay the Visa by phone and you save money on stamps and postage rates. soon you are rich.
