Myk Murphy:
heh heh, no, he never returns my phone calls. bastard. did you watch the video?
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 3:15:26 pm)
Chewing Wax:
As best I could. Kept freezing up with net congestion.
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 3:16:30 pm)
Chewing Wax:
Looks like a nice club though.
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 3:21:29 pm)
Decoy:
Look closely, that guy with the sign is wearing a Red Sox hat! Cast your aspersions elsewhere, Murphy.
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 3:28:32 pm)
Chewing Wax:
I think us Mets fans speak perfectly fine. Actaully, that's an Indians cap. But alas, his friend has wearing a mets cap it's true.
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 3:30:18 pm)
Decoy:
I was going to guess Indians, but Boston is better to pick on in general.
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 3:55:07 pm)
Chewing Wax:
Both cities are just chock full of idiots. It's true.
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 3:56:34 pm)
Chewing Wax:
Chowdah!
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 3:56:52 pm)
Chewing Wax:
Did you call last night? The garbled message sounded like you kind of.
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 3:57:19 pm)
Decoy:
Yep, definately Indians, now I'm convinced. Sorry.
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 3:57:22 pm)
Decoy:
Yes that was me. I suppose you have a SONY answering machine as well? I think it hates me.
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 3:58:02 pm)
Chewing Wax:
No. It's AT&T, but it was the tapes fault. I bought a new tape and it's running jim dandy now. And I turned the ringer on the phone on. The deck was stacked against you.
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 3:59:32 pm)
Myk Murphy:
my aspersions are already cast, decoy. sorry. perhaps the 2 worked together on the project as an example of inter-city cooperation. the mets fan assisted with the second line of type, i'm guessing. giggle. as for the club, it's certainly not all that nice, but it is fun, which is all one can ask.
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 4:03:24 pm)
Myk Murphy:
i'm outtie. see ya.
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 4:03:34 pm)
Chewing Wax:
Later Myk. Have a great weekend.
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 4:08:23 pm)
Decoy:
Happy weekend to you, Myk. So what's the holiday plan Wax? Taking care of Anne is the best bet. When can she start sailing and going to dart night again?
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 4:26:27 pm)
Chewing Wax:
She's out of commission for 4 to 6 weeks I'm guessing.
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 4:32:40 pm)
Decoy:
It's unlike but similar to when a kid breaks a leg on the first day of summer vacation and they tell him that not to worry, he'll be up and around by the time school starts.
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 4:48:49 pm)
Chewing Wax:
She's already driving me crazy, bossing me around, demanding this and demanding that. Could I have a nice cool drink. Could you fluff my pillow. Could you put my slipper/socks on so I don't slip and fall. It's all me me me.
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 4:53:22 pm)
Chewing Wax:
I'm off to home. Later.
(Fri Jun 30, 2000 - 5:02:32 pm)
Decoy:
Dawn over the falls is pretty.
(Sat Jul 1, 2000 - 7:47:08 am)
Decoy:
Anyway, that's when I ripped a hissing line drive home run off the left field facade 347 feet from home plate. I wasn't sure if it was going to hit the ball or go through the wall. It capped the scoring and took the lead with 3 RBI in one stroke. My 22nd homer extended the streak of games with RBIs to 13, four short of the major league record.
(Sat Jul 1, 2000 - 8:09:06 am)
Myk Murphy:
nice work, decoy!
(Sat Jul 1, 2000 - 9:03:13 am)
Chewing Wax:
Go Decoy Go!

Decoy:
Also, including today's game, in which New York leads Atlanta 7-1, I now have an RBI in 14 straight games -- three short of the major league record. During his streak the Mets are 9-4, and now trail the Braves by just two games in the AL East. I hit a three-run bomb off Greg Maddux in the second inning already today.

(Sun Jul 2, 2000 - 7:02:02 am)
Myk Murphy:
good morning, fellow lovers of freedom. today the office is mostly empty, so things can actually be accomplished.
(Mon Jul 3, 2000 - 8:56:34 am)
Decoy:
Good morning dwellers in the land of the free and the home of the brave. I'm looking very forward to getting some work done; no customer calls is all good. Too bad Erstad plays for ANAHEIM, 'not exactly playoff bound.
