(Fri Aug 15, 2003 - 12:51:52 am)
Heruka:
you know what's odd? in my county, there are THREE power plants. two coals and one nuke. the city in which I live has it's own power station that serves just this city. but yet, we lost power also. somethings not right. one of the guys I was talking to tonight at the marina says he thinks someone uploaded a worm into the system. of course, he's from Syria and inspects homes for a living, so his knowledge is suspect. but the bars were open. even without power, those beer taps work perfectly. God bless them.

two cops with flashlights and a big ass german shephard just came charging through the bushes in my yard yelling "WHO ARE YOU?" at me. Scared the crap outta me.
(Fri Aug 15, 2003 - 3:01:07 am)
Queenie:
they then searched every inch of my yard, including the tent we pitched so sidney could have a camp-out, then they left... without whatever desperate criminal they were apparently hunting, who is probably still lurking in the orchard.
(Fri Aug 15, 2003 - 4:12:41 am)
Queenie:
After this, there's NO WAY I'm letting Sidney camp out there by herself again. Ugh.
(Fri Aug 15, 2003 - 4:13:21 am)
Heruka:

Hmm, in a failed attept to turn on my tv here in the home office, I came acroos the problem that I apparently unplugged the extension cord from the wall yesterday. this same extension cord had my dsl moden plugged into it. oops.
(Fri Aug 15, 2003 - 8:35:25 am)
Myk Murphy:
Good morning, campers. Today will really suck for quite a few folks.
(Fri Aug 15, 2003 - 8:35:46 am)
Myk Murphy:
Perhaps the worm unplugged it. You can't rule anything out.
(Fri Aug 15, 2003 - 8:37:12 am)

NYC is still without power. those people are like animals too. they start feeling a little uncomfy, they lose what little civility they have in them.
(Fri Aug 15, 2003 - 8:38:59 am)
Heruka:
