there's a two acre farmhouse built in 1920 for $45k. can't get that anywhere in California. maybe in Berkely after the west coast house bubble collapses.

Myk Murphy:
the kent island area, right next to the bay bridge, is a cool location. just a bridge toll away from annapolis, which has plenty going on.

Chewing Wax:
I've had the hots for Bertha for a long time

there are some things you should know about maryland's eastern shore. they grow a lot of corn, they don't have many jobs, and the schools may not be up to a certain standard.

Heruka:
trust me, a night with Wax, and she'll be running back to me and never look at another man again. no matter how fat and smelly I get.
I'll never get my mobile home in the Florida Keys. it's been a dream of mine for so0 long. now, that dream is dead.
and thankls for the Congrats. I'm thrilled, at least they tell me I am.

Just like Western Ohio

Myk Murphy:
was this a surprise wedding announcement, or have you simply held it from us for a long time? or, does she have a bun in the oven and you want to keep things legit?
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:04:23 am)
Heruka:
the farmohouse is near Wenona. I figured it was the country. I like the country.
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:04:35 am)
Myk Murphy:
wenona? where the fuck is that? hold on, that's why we have mapquest.
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:05:21 am)
Chewing Wax:
Seriously. She shouldn't sleep with me. She'd never go back and anyhow I'm already married.
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:05:27 am)
Heruka:
no buns. we've been engaged for over a year.
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:05:29 am)
Chewing Wax:
I don't need eight women
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:05:56 am)
Chewing Wax:
It's the G spot. They love that.
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:06:37 am)
Myk Murphy:
holy crap. where did you even find out about this place? it juts right out into the chesapeake. that's kinda cool.
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:06:51 am)
Heruka:
I've been on that bridge. the very long bay bridge. kinda nice area.
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:07:02 am)
Myk Murphy:
engaged that long? goodness. well, this is a happy occasion! let's not bicker and argue about "who killed who"!
since the by-laws are in the trash...
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:08:00 am)
Myk Murphy:
yeah, fun bridge. the only bridge i really look forward to.

I'm secretly hoping the west coast doesn't work out for us. I don't think I'm much of a west coaster. the east coast is the one tht really matters in the end.

Chewing Wax:
Word
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:08:35 am)
Myk Murphy:
that bridge can come to a stop, due to beach traffic. my brother was driving when we had a bit of a collision... our car hit the truck in front of us. no damage to the truck, but our car was slightly disfigured.
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:09:44 am)
Myk Murphy:
not to seem like such a worry wart, but have you looked at the job opportunities in these places, or are you throwing darts at maps of coastal towns?
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:10:31 am)
Heruka:
this one is for $35K not $45k like I mentioned. it's the old farmhouse. kinda neat. and cheap. 2 acres and near the water.
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:10:52 am)
Chewing Wax:
Paradise
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:11:42 am)
Heruka:
throwing darts really. if they had more going on, they'd want a lot more for the property. it's poor and there's nothing going on I know. But annapois and Baltimore and DC are a commute away. a long commute, but a commute nonetheless.

wow. i can't imagine buying 2 acres and a house for $35k. around here, that gets you.... someone's shed in their backyard. amazing.
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:13:07 am)
Chewing Wax:
Amazing

Berthas job requires a more populated setting for it to be worthwhile. she's a crosswalk guard. me, I can live without people for most of the year.
hell, you live ina hipster area of DC. of course it's going to cost.
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:15:14 am)
Myk Murphy:
it would take you over 2 hours to get to dc and baltimore, and probably annapolis, too. salisbury is a much more reasonable commuter location... or ocean city, actually.
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:15:20 am)
Chewing Wax:
Bertha needs people crossing. What are you thinking? She nees crossing and crazy people in the front of traffic!
(Mon Jul 14, 2003 - 12:16:30 am)
Myk Murphy:
lately, everything here in dc is insanely priced. you have to go well over an hour out of the city (on the virginia side) to find reasonably priced homes.
