Heruka:
let's try this. I think it's on this one too. it's on the peninsula. when driving onto the peninsula(heading left), it's the fourth boat on the right at the north end(top) of the peninsula. there are two sets of two, ours is the second boat in the second set. the one next to us is about a 38ft.

(Tue Jun 24, 2003 - 3:33:15 pm)

I know a guy who recently moved out there, to suburban New Jersey. Linden. He works with biotech. He moved there because Ohio sucks. Anyhow, he was looking for a house, he has a wife and two kids, Nobody told him when he first began looking, but the house prices have shot up somethinglike 200% since 9/11 in the area where he was looking. he's going to rent an apartment for a while and waite for the house prices to fall just a bit. apparently, there's been a significant migration out of the city since 9/11 happened. He's from Morocco. Kareem is his name. nice guy. highly intelligent.

I guess a lot of people left because their jobs were effected by 9/11.

To foreigners, it can sound wretched: kokorec ? ko-ko-retch ? consists of toasted bread and fried lamb intestines. Still, it is a favorite of Turks, drawing big lunchtime crowds in Istanbul. The European Parliament, however, looks askance at the sale of animal intestines, causing Turks to rally round the kokorec. They sing songs. They don T-shirts. They go on television to defend its virtues.
(Tue Jun 24, 2003 - 4:31:20 pm)

Chewing Wax:
Mmmm. That sounds good. I'm outta here.

Myk Murphy:
i have to wonder what sort of bizarre experience bela had in our fair commonwealth. this state is no fatter than most, i suspect, although you will find some odd haircuts in the rural areas. as for the food, if you couldn't get good food in rural virginia, you might have been looking in the wrong places. you won't get sushi, certainly, but you'll find southern fare that's well prepared.

Heruka:
I need some more time away. I'm already stressed to the max.
(Wed Jun 25, 2003 - 7:33:11 am)

Decoy:
You know, I find the stress level actually to have decreased at work. Not for the amount of things to do. I can handle that stress easily. But maintaining a department's worth of people's time and keeping them busy and happy was the hard part of the job.
(Wed Jun 25, 2003 - 9:12:33 am)

Decoy:
So that's good, in the short term, at least.
(Wed Jun 25, 2003 - 9:12:46 am)

Chewing Wax:
What a "glass if half full" type of guy you are.
