L O N D O N, June 11 — Police raided the kitchen of Buckingham Palace and found a small amount of marijuana, Scotland Yard said Saturday. No arrests were made. “A very small quantity of a cannabis plant, Far less than a pound, was discovered and has been taken away by police for examination,” a Yard spokesman said on condition of anonymity. The amount involved was relatively minute, he said, and it was uncertain if further action would be taken. The tabloid News of the World reported today that a member of the palace staff had tipped off the police Royalty Protection Squad, and that the marijuana was found Saturday morning. Buckingham Palace gave no comment, saying it was a police matter. Charlels could not explain the bong in his room saying only "I thought it was a telescope".

stil damn hot outside. i put my pathfinder in for A/C service, so i'll be rolling in the li'l car for the next few days, no matter the weather. i think it got to 98 today. today i went with my friend to a computer sale event and the music store. we sat around and played $2000 acoustic guitars, since he has expensive taste. actually, the odds-on favorite for the role of "his next guitar" was around $1100. quite sensible!
