:
Bukowski’s is a boho restaurant
with a stylish tweak. The room is lined with black and
white photos of literary figures, and diners range from
Mad Max wanna-bes to the millionaire Hummer crowd. Menu
items are real casual that combine roasted chicken with
Thai noodles, quesadillas with mushrooms, sea bass
with orange glaze and other experiment. There’s live
jazz, blues and poetry on most nights except at
weekends when hemp hobo DJs liven up the place. On at least one
Sunday a month there is a book launch open to the
public.
