I got lost on the subway yesterday going to work when the L train was out of service. I was so pissed off. Its such a pain in the ass because there are tons of people pushing and shoving around the maps so you sort of guess where your going, and then I got on a wrong train I thought was going somewhere and it wasn't so I got off to look at the map on the platform and the exact area I was in was all scratched off. I hate that.

A lot of people visit more than one. Me, I visit three, but only post on this one regularly. The other ones, once a week maybe, depending on how slow things are.

once there were three smart and beautiful chicks who were great at math. their names were aunt maggie, mom, and anaconda (so what? - this is my story). they were on a trip in germany. when they arrived at the train station, they met three nerdy guys who tried to flirt with them.
they wanted to get away from the guys so they excused themselves with the fact that they had yet to purchase their ticket. the nerdy dudes followed them and bought their tickets as well.
when they got back to the loading station, the guys said to the chicks, "how come you girls only got one ticket when there are three of you? aren't you all gonna ride?" (they were nerdy and not very charming)
to that aunt maggie responded, "yes, we are all three going to ride on this train across germany on ONE ticket. just watch and discover for yourselves how it is done."
when they got on the train, the beautiful chicks all went into the restroom together. when the conductor came around asking, "tickets please....everyone tickets please", he just knocked on the restroom door and mom handed out the one ticket. thus the three smart and beautiful chicks who were great at math got to ride for 1/3 the price of the nerdy guys.
well the nerdy guys thought that was a slick trick, so on the way home they only bought one ticket themselves. they happened to notice that the hot and smart chicks however did not buy even one ticket this time! (yes, the nerdy dudes stalked the hot chicks and that's why they went back on the same train)
everyone got on the train. the nerdy guys all went into the single restroom together. shortly there came a knock on the door and the words, "tickets please.....everyone tickets please." one nerdy guy stuck out his one ticket.
anaconda took the one ticket from the nerdy guy's hand and the three foxy fine chicks all got into the other restroom.
the moral of the story:
smart and beautiful math chicks always ride cheaper!

Luckily, I'm also an english geek. Webster says:
Etymology: probably from English dialect geek, geck fool, from Low German geck, from Middle Low German
Date: 1914
1 : a carnival performer often billed as a wild man whose act usually includes biting the head off a live chicken or snake
2 : a person often of an intellectual bent who is disapproved of

Very recently -- in the 90's -- the repulsive connotation has receded and the brainy factor has come to the fore. One often hears the word "geek" used in ironic and even complimentary fashion to connote knowledgeability and expertise.

A geek as commonly referred to now, is a social outcast. Like a nerd, but nerds are smart. While a nerd will be doing other things as an adult, a geek will generally be laying Dungeons and Dragons at age 35.
