I mean... I'm sure she was a lovely person and all, but the media just latches onto these stories and decides, "OK, today we're going to make everyone in the country care about Lacy Peterson". And we do, like a bunch of chumps. But why?? Cause she was white and attractive?

you know queenie, most of america is white. part of the reason they do stories on white people mostly is because most of america can identify with these people. it has little to do with race and more about demographics.

so this radio talk show guy that I'm working with has a film idea he pitched me, he wants me to help him write it -- and it is a story that you guys would absolutely love. one of those portraits of a media frenzy, with a great new sort of twist.
