There was a bomb threat or something last night in Williamsburg. Thats funny. No, its nothing formal this dinner party thing, I'll wear a dress but its casual. Chris is wearing a white suit he told me. His girlfriend is wearing a red dress so that should look sharp.

So suddenly I realize my power was off for a second and there on the door is a note from the electric company that they've installed for my convenience a new meter which tells them down to the headquarters just how much power I'm using and that if they see a sudden spike they'll know I'm growing pot plants so I should watch it. So I have to go around the house resetting every fucking clock and reboot this ancient computer which takes twenty minutes and this and that and I'm suing the electric company for waking me up because my cd player starts playing everytime the power is cut and Laurie Anderson was singing really loudly and that's not a great way to wake up.
