D'oh!:

After yesterday's announcement of the nominations, Lavigne has a lot more attached to her, namely a monumental mistake when she mispronounced David Bowie's last name. When reading the list of artists up for the Best Male Rock Vocal Performance, she mispronounced Bowie as "bow-wie" (rhymes with oh, wowee!). An unnerving hush immediately enveloped Madison Square Garden.

bela:
I didn't see the grammys, big waste of time all that shitty ass music. although I did drive by Madison Squ. Garden Friday night and I saw all that stupid crap being put up outside. That is the ugliest neighborhood. So dirty. Nothing grooved like hell.
(Mon Feb 24, 2003 - 12:39:12 pm)

D'oh!:
the clash tribute and coldplay grooved like hell. the rest of it.. eh.
(Mon Feb 24, 2003 - 12:40:39 pm)

Who the hell is Norah?:

(Mon Feb 24, 2003 - 12:41:36 pm)

D'oh!:
it was steve van zandt and bruce springsteen (for some odd reason) and dave grohl and elvis costello doing London Calling with I don't know how many other guitarists but it was so huge and loud and definately grooved like hell.

I missed the grammys. The downside to being an adult.

Heruka:
So I ordered this stuff a while ago. I ordered 5 shirts and 2 cd's in jan. I sent the check out on the 13th. so they email me a couple of weeks ago wondering where the payment was, I told them I sent it out weeks ago. I told them I would into the check to see if it's cashed, it wasn't. this was on a thursday then a few days later on a sunday, they notified me that they recieved the check. my suspicions it was there all along and got misplaced. So I get two packages with the items in them, both contain my tshirts. these came from NYC. then I get yet another package from Australia containing the cd's and 3 tshirts. so now I'm up 3 shirts. do they know they've done this? is this quiet retribution for the long delay in the check? shopuld I notify them of their mistake? Hmm, I wonder...
(Mon Feb 24, 2003 - 2:13:46 pm)

bela:
No, I wouldn't bother, they screwed up and to mend the error will mean you'll have to put yourself out like sending them back.
(Mon Feb 24, 2003 - 2:22:32 pm)

bela:
I doubt they would really care anyway. I wouldn't worry about it.
(Mon Feb 24, 2003 - 2:23:22 pm)

Queenie:
i'm having a hard time coming up with slogans for my 'barely legal' show. I keep thinking of stuff like "dedicated to bringing teenagers, strippers, and booze together", which while being funny is probably too tongue in cheek for most people to appreciate.
(Mon Feb 24, 2003 - 2:23:44 pm)

Heruka:
Oh. ok. I suppose.
