Same story, different pictures. The one on the left is from cnn who are profoundly antiwar, antibush and complete leftwingers. the right is from foxnews, who's the complete opposite. a pic is worth a thousand words.

the images project very different ideals. the one on the left he seems to be almost crying. the one on the right, well... the cnn one seems to be almost sympathtic towards him. perhaps trying to manipulate its readers to him and then turning away from the right and showing him as the loony he is by bringing emotions into the formula of decisionmaking. the one on the right seems to demonize him. but beyond the intentioned end result, they're both meant to achieve the same, but different goals. it's intersting how they use pics in this manner. not the first time I noticed. cnn did it to a Clinton [ic one. they had a terrible pic of him that someone posted here before. then later in the day, that terrible pic was changed with a more noble picture of him. the second pic had the same url as the first.

I access the lojnge through backdoor enterance, that allows me to skip the news stuff on the right, so my actual message frame is wider, allowing those pics to be posted side by side as opposed to up and down. naturally, when I say left, it's the first pic.

yesterday, as I was watching cnn on tv. they had on their little snippets that yesterdays DOW gains were a result of a hopeful peaceful ending to the Iraq situation. not only is that probably false, bu's meant to send a statement.

I dunno, I don't generally watch FoxNews. Only Brit Hume, but he's a smart man. One of the few that seems to actually know what they're talking about and not just rattling off nonsense. don't like news that instills a sense of feeling in me. feelings, or emotions, and reasoning are very different beasts, and should not be confused. emotions have no place in intllectual thinking.
