Hey Queenie..did you see this: I don't know if it's correct, but this article says the number
is 2,500:
http://www.feedthefish.org/archive/96/070696.html
I remember when it came out I was under the impression it was ultra-
limited in its run, so I snatched one up immediately.
Huh. This article gives the same figure, so perhaps 2,500's right:

well theo I don't know, people were talking about a re-issue without some sort of cat insert thing? The one I have has no cat. So I have no idea what they're talking about.

It doesn't matter anyway, I re-wrote the scene to be about a Waits record instead.

ugh, i went to some club tonight, some goddamn vancouver club, to see some band or another and there were these guys there who were just dipshits and they tried to get me and krishta to play pool with them and then tried to convince us that the one was a guitar virtuoso and the to come to their show tomorrow night and the whole time jamie is standing there, but poor jamie, it's like he's invisible to other guys or something. I mean, either one of us could have easily been his date but these other guys just didn't see him.

queenie: often, guys can determine if a guy is with any girl in a group just by simple observation. it's an art.

so how 'bout those anti-war protests today?! all over the world. well, all over the world where complacency and anti-americanism has won out over reasoned logic that, sometimes, things have to be fixed before it's a real problem.
(Sat Feb 15, 2003 - 7:49:49 am)
Myk Murphy:
In a message to those taking part in the demonstrations, Blair said on Saturday: "I ask the marchers to understand this: I do not seek unpopularity as a badge of honour. But sometimes it is the price of leadership and the cost of conviction."
He added: "As you watch your TV pictures of the march, ponder this: if there are 500,000 on that march, that is still less than the number of people whose deaths Saddam has been responsible for.
"If there are one million, that is still less than the number of people who died in the wars he started."
you tell 'em, tony.
(Sat Feb 15, 2003 - 7:51:41 am)
Myk Murphy:
you'll have to excuse my gushing admiration of mr blair. his job is on the line by taking a stand next to a very unpopular US president (overseas, that is). here, bush would probably lose domestic support if he took a wimpy stand on iraq.
while many folks in other lands would like to call this bush's war and that sort of thing, a large majority of americans (among all socioeconomic classes) support action. waiting for an enemy to strengthen and strike is foolish.
(Sat Feb 15, 2003 - 8:02:31 am)
Decoy:
Yeah, that idiot Susan Serandon was on the CBS Morning show yesterday. I just wanted to tell here that she should start be going over to Iraq and protesting the war he's about to start and his government by thuggerry. You can't just say its wrong preetend to be resposible while inaction continues to cause more deaths than war to finally stop it all. I mean I wasn't sure if her real message was that she thinks that American lives are so much more sacred that foriegn lives. She has great tits, though.
(Sat Feb 15, 2003 - 8:19:20 am)
Myk Murphy:
when we look to the acting community as the lead for an anti-war movement, one can be sure that the movement has no momentum. sean penn couldn't influence my snack or cola-buying habits, let alone my political convictions.

sadly, though, I suspect there's a small number of people who actually look to them for guidance. not me though, I consult my horoscope. lets see, today I will find love, and money situtation improves. so that's nice.
