I didn't see what the big fuss was about Austin. There is this huge contingent of Austin people in NYC and they love it there but my friend Julia who is also from there says no one does anything but work shitty jobs and hang out and drink and do drugs.

You know, they have all these 'brilliant' nobel lauretes on tv condemning Bush's economic plan. my question is, if they really knew what they were talking abut, wouldn't every countries economy always bee on te upswing. economies are huge shadows that no-one knows what casts them. I don't think anyone really nows how to control an economy. so whats the nobel thing for? being the least clueless of the bunch? just talking heads.

Friday we walked around midtown and just looked around, Then we went down to Mesa Grill for dinner. Saturday we went to Neary's for lunch and went window shopping - went to that ABC carpet place, far out - then to St. Patricks for the wedding then to the East Village for the reception.
