so my dvd is currently in the hands of the president of the film music division at miramax. he's a pretty important guy, he's won 13 grammies for producing and is the musical director of that new "chicago" movie and the new george clooney movie. and my producer krishta is old school chums with him so he'll give attention to anything she sends along to him. exciting stuff!

I went out to Staples a little while ago and I was walking up Fifth Avenue toward Central Park and there were this really rich touritsts that wanted me to take their picture in front of Tiffany and Co so I did. I felt weird I don't know why. The woman was really pretty with this perfect blond hair and this huge fur coat and the guy was all dressed up. I assume they were tourists anyway, it was some crappy disposable camera. They were nice though. Whatever.

Did you ever ride that roller coaster that went backwards? I think it was called the Tidal Wave. We would start our day at the opposite end of the boardwalk and spend all day working our way down to the roller coaster, and that would be the last thing we did before we went home. It was our little ritual. And there was that place where you could have your photo taken with a life-size wooden cut-out of a famous person. Part of the ritual was to go in there and have our picture taken with Jim Morrison. I have three of them. I also have a copy of me and my friend singing in one of those "make your own cassette" booths. I really loved Ocean City.
