Heruka:
I once heard someone on CSPAN acknowledge there is a difference between southern and norther/western Republicans. I'll give them this. I dunno how the southern GOP operates.

I was cleaning the basement and forgot the speech was on, but I was SAVED by Tivo! Antyway, yeah, Murphy - the Dems are shattered; they need to get about the business of recreating their party in an image that is acceptable to the non-republican electorate. They'd better hope those reject fundamentalists the GOP has sloughed off don't come a knocking or they'll become a worse joke than the GOP was. Bush and the boys are gonne swing a lot of sticks before the Dems get back on the upswing. Interesting comment about the dominoes of democracy there. I just want to see us be independent from their resources as soon as possible. I looked at some old numbers because that's all I could find, but the US produces three times as much oil as Iraq - and that's not even close to what the Saudis do. Interesting.

I fell asleep during the thing last night. Me and Franco snoozed. I fell asleep right after he was talking about the mentor program, which seemed surreal to me.

Ironical:
UNITED NATIONS (CNN) -- Iraq will chair the United Nations' most important disarmament negotiating forum during the panel's May session.
At the rules-minded United Nations, it's not a country's status with international weapons inspectors, but the letters in its name that determine which member state chairs the Conference on Disarmament.
