Decoy:
An IR picture of Wax's house would probably by horribly underexposed.
(Sat Jan 18, 2003 - 5:59:13 pm)

Decoy:
The sun heat up the house above the thermostat setting this afternoon. That's livin' easy!

Myk Murphy:
tough decision. you may find that the sprite/midget is just a bit too small for some folks. it makes my mgb look big. on the other hand, it is a fun car.
(Sat Jan 18, 2003 - 6:57:32 pm)

Decoy:
Those things are toys. Way too small.
(Sat Jan 18, 2003 - 7:03:51 pm)

Myk Murphy:
of course they're toys. not exactly suitable for commuting, lemme tell ya.

Heruka:
I had an Austin Healey Sprite back in the day. It was a 1969 1275cc. Fun car. Tiny though. I need a sports car to drive this summer me thinks. The Sunbeam is near me. They're skinf $3500. needs work. New top and brakes. at least that's what they say on the ad. I'm sure it needs other things as well. Around here the bodies are the most important thing. everything else can be replaced. but once the body starts going, the car is doomed. the was an abandoned barn near where I grew up that had a Sunbeam Alpine in it, like the black one below. When I was a kid I would go and sit in it for hours pretending I was driving.

There's several Midgets near me at reasonable costs too. Which car is more attractive?
(Sun Jan 19, 2003 - 1:47:34 am)

Heruka:
Nash Healey. A partnership between Donald Healey and Nash. But you already knew that I'm sure. Not a bad looking car.

(Sun Jan 19, 2003 - 1:57:12 am)

Heruka:
this is actually my favourite car on earth. A Maserati a6gcs, sports racing from the 1950's. Million dollar auto. Maserati is the only Italian car aker I like. Cisitilia made an attractive car or tw. They have one in the Museum of Modern art in NY. I duuno what model offhand.

(Sun Jan 19, 2003 - 2:03:52 am)

Heruka:
I belong in that car. racing across Europe. giving slower drivers the bird, pissing in peasents wellwater.
(Sun Jan 19, 2003 - 2:11:27 am)

Decoy:
Cars are great. You got me browsing, H. I had no idea these might go for 10k. FLA, too.

(Sun Jan 19, 2003 - 8:51:33 am)

Decoy:
A convertable around here is a waste. Unless its all-wheel drive, a sportscar is a waste around here, too. But a guy can fantasize, I guess.

Good morning
(Sun Jan 19, 2003 - 1:05:59 pm)

Heruka:
Hello. No erly gaame today? I don't like this. I've got things to do later tonight. Go Titans.
(Sun Jan 19, 2003 - 1:32:03 pm)

Heruka:
Do they not have roads in Rochester?
(Sun Jan 19, 2003 - 1:36:54 pm)

Chewing Wax:
They have paths and stuff. Yeh. I don't like this new NFL playoff schedule at all. But, I have nothing to do, so I'm going to whip up a shrimp and sausage gumbo.
(Sun Jan 19, 2003 - 1:45:53 pm)

Decoy:
The wheel ruts are non-standard, too. We have to convert all our axles.
(Sun Jan 19, 2003 - 2:40:53 pm)

Heruka:
the problem is, we're going over these peoples home for dinner tonight. I really don't want to go. Would it be rude of me to just put my foot down and say I want a relaxing evening at home? I think it would. I mean, I relax at home almost all day every day. I don't leave the house much. Now that I have a few classes to attend I leave more often, but that's about it. I go out to eat seveal times a week. the movies on occasion. shopping once or twice a week. anyhow....

it's 84 degrees in this room. yikes!

(Sun Jan 19, 2003 - 3:16:04 pm)

Heruka:
January thaw should be arriving here in a wekk or two. I think I'm going to spend a day driving around looking at cheap sportscars to see what's out there. see if I really want to spend money that should be going towards the boat on a silly auto. No-one ever answered my question on which car is more attractive, the black Sunbeam or the greensg Midget. I need a non-sportscar enthusiasts opinion.

Decoy, they have Austin Healeys that were made with 4 seats. I think some Lotus Elans were four seaters also. I imagine on a warm autumn day the family would love to cruise the country roads finger lakes area in a rag top.

pErfect for a family of Decoys on a leisurly Sunday drive

After five years I've finally tuned Channel 5 into the video, although it registers as Channel 6, which doesn't actually exist. Now I can go out on Saturdays instead of being held hostage to "Charmed". This is progress.
(Sun Jan 19, 2003 - 4:48:11 pm)

Decoy:
4 Seats? Hmmm. Very cool.

(Sun Jan 19, 2003 - 6:30:02 pm)

Decoy:
Channel 5? Congrats.

Decoy:
Tampa Bay? Super Bowl? Weird shit, man.
(Sun Jan 19, 2003 - 6:30:50 pm)

m©:
No offence Heruka, but an English car is just a moving hole that you throw money into.
(Sun Jan 19, 2003 - 6:31:04 pm)

Decoy:
Oh great. Now it might be the Gruden Bowl.
(Sun Jan 19, 2003 - 6:31:18 pm)

Decoy:
Hi mooch!
