Queenie:

(Mon Dec 16, 2002 - 3:03:43 pm)

Heruka:
Perhaps I should become an IT dweeb. Can't be that hard.
(Mon Dec 16, 2002 - 3:03:44 pm)

Heruka:
60k? that's it? is that what IT people earn? that's not very much. somehow I don't think my quality of life is going to improve on 60k a year in California.
(Mon Dec 16, 2002 - 3:04:52 pm)

Decoy:
That looks like a cake job, holy shit. That makes my job look like a coal mine. Q, you may be on to something, take your gig down there and you'll be close to Hollywood for making your movies and everything. And that's it.
(Mon Dec 16, 2002 - 3:06:05 pm)

Decoy:
H, the point is that its practically no work for 60K.
(Mon Dec 16, 2002 - 3:06:49 pm)

Queenie:
ten workstations, two servers. that's only slightly more than we have in our basement.

Queenie:
we've got three servers though, five workstations
(Mon Dec 16, 2002 - 3:09:13 pm)

Heruka:
I suppose the tech salaries have shrunk dramatically. Now that there's too many people looking for jobs and every 13 year old can do that stuff now.

Noone works anymore. the only people I know who actually work at what they do either earn serious $$ or have more physically laborous jobs. our generation does very little it seems. we just sit and stare.
(Mon Dec 16, 2002 - 3:12:51 pm)

Decoy:
Heruka, get laid.
(Mon Dec 16, 2002 - 3:14:27 pm)

Heruka:
Look at me. I do squat. I sit here, surf porn and sniff my fingers all day. By the time I tire of this, it's usually time for my afternoon nap.
(Mon Dec 16, 2002 - 3:14:47 pm)

Heruka:
yeah, but that's not paid for by the company.
(Mon Dec 16, 2002 - 3:15:40 pm)

Queenie:
I consider 60k to be "serious money".
(Mon Dec 16, 2002 - 3:16:06 pm)

Trent:

Help me, my lips are stuck this way.
(Mon Dec 16, 2002 - 3:16:53 pm)

Decoy:
60k is good money for a piddly little IT job like that, for sure.
(Mon Dec 16, 2002 - 3:18:12 pm)

Queenie:
it's a lot more than I've ever made.
(Mon Dec 16, 2002 - 3:20:13 pm)

Decoy:
If Gore doesn't run the whole Democratic thing is toast, no? How can he do that after a popular mandate of his presidential bid? I think its a carefully mapped out PR stunt when he'll probably swoop down upon the Democratic national convention (just as they realize Lieberman in unelectable) on an anti-gravity hover sled and declare that he will indeed be president and save the world and validate the democrats with a resounding popular victory that will surpass the Regan landslide and the whole nice guy routine and the hey hey hey.
(Mon Dec 16, 2002 - 3:24:02 pm)

Heruka:
it's more than I make. but it's pretty close to being average anymore.
(Mon Dec 16, 2002 - 3:24:37 pm)

Queenie:

(Mon Dec 16, 2002 - 3:25:24 pm)

(Mon Dec 16, 2002 - 3:26:32 pm)
