(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 3:08:37 pm)

(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 3:09:04 pm)

(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 3:09:24 pm)
Detlef Sping:
He had a whole jar of them when I was there.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 3:10:15 pm)
Detlef Sping:
Just drinking and catching wasps, it was a great time for sure.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 3:11:07 pm)
Myk Murphy:
i neglected to see the venetian when i was in vegas last year. the bellagio was cool, however. i agree that it's difficult to find a discounted buffet worth one's time. the area on the south part of the strip near new york new york is reasonably kid-friendly. er... i guess. i suppose that the mexicans who hand out porn pamphlets do their best to avoid giving them to 8 year olds.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 3:22:59 pm)
Decoy:
That's amazing. As they say, its such a Sping world.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 3:28:48 pm)
Decoy:
Hey Sping, if you know Drew Bledsoe, tell him to stop fucking doing that.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 3:33:05 pm)
Chewing Wax:
The season is OVER
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 3:33:44 pm)

(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 3:39:43 pm)
Decoy:
NE holds on every play, too. 3 TDs called back is bullshit, how about they constantly hold and got caught threee times. I hate those guys.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 3:42:13 pm)
Decoy:
Is everyone enjoying Greg Gumbel's Eulogy?
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 3:49:00 pm)
Queenie:
I have a dilemma. I'm crafting a new opening sequence for the short film to clear up some confusions about back-story that folks seem to have, but I have to do it with no camera. And I have no leading man. And Cybele is too busy. And the love interest has dyed her hair platinum blonde. This will require some major creative thinking.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 4:02:57 pm)
Detlef Sping:
I see a sunrise over a empty street with Alla eesa playing from an old dusty transistor radio while the voice over explains the upcoming sequences, as a dry Portland wind swirls dust devils in the baren landscape.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 4:17:16 pm)
Detlef Sping:
Segueing nicely into an opening scene in the hotel as accordion music begins to fade in.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 4:18:25 pm)
Detlef Sping:
the hiss will only add ambience to the desolation and decay that is the main theme.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 4:19:50 pm)
Queenie:
I'm thinking of something more like a music box, childlike and fairy-tale is. little chimes or something. but we're on the same wavelength for sure.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 4:20:18 pm)
Detlef Sping:
Also making the other music sound that much better.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 4:20:29 pm)
Queenie:
fairy-tale-ish is what I was trying to say.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 4:20:34 pm)
Detlef Sping:
for sure.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 4:21:41 pm)
Queenie:
i'm trying to set up photo shoots, black and whites, to display like a slideshow, to show the defining moments that brought these three different people to the same place... and to explain to people the frank-polly dynamic because that's what folks seem to be most confused about.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 4:22:04 pm)
Queenie:
but desolation and decay aren't the main theme, it's about hope and junk.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 4:23:07 pm)
Detlef Sping:
The bus depot.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 4:23:30 pm)
Detlef Sping:
hope and junk springing phoenix like from the desolation and decay.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 4:24:28 pm)
Detlef Sping:
Like a Hope-and-Junk-in-the-box.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 4:25:29 pm)
Queenie:
i wish wax were here to draw us a picture of hope-and-junk-in-the-box. I'd buy that on a t-shirt for sure.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 4:26:09 pm)
Detlef Sping:
He's busy humming Love Train.
(Sun Dec 8, 2002 - 4:27:18 pm)
Detlef Sping:
People all over the world
join hands
We're On a Love train,
Love Train
