to answer queenie's question, hope sandoval (ex-vocalist for mazzy star) went solo, with (i think) a backing band called "the warm inventions". i heard a little bit of off an album called (i am not making this up) "bavarian fruit bread" and was unimpressed. her voice amazes. i use mazzy star albums to audition audio gear, including my own.

REally, If you think that your friends would show up at your party without any sort of something because you didn't request it on the invite, then your friends are lame and not worth having a party over. People fill me with rage. Just now I was in McCarren Park and I was talking to this Irish girl Emma that I know - she was inside the dog run with this dog shes fostering and I was standing outside with my dogs on leashes. All of a sudden she said "oh shit, watch out for this dog this woman is a fucking bitch" and this tan pit bull comes up off leash and goes right after my dog and attacks him. We're all you fucking idiot what are you doing fucking bitch this fucking bitch that and she just walked away. Emma told me this woman's dog has bit so many dogs and so many people. Her dog didn't hurt my dog though but he just walked up to him and attacked him. I hate people.
